Handles all the dialog perfectly. Center is paired with the Sony 5” Core series bookshelf speakers and the Sony Sub. It is the driver for my Home Theater. Perfect for person who doesn’t want to spend a fortune.

The speaker works perfect and was easy to install. It was streamlined enough that it integrated easily with my other components. The sales rep recommended this speaker and I could not be happier.

It almost drowns out our old tower speakers, but some adjustments in our Sony receiver was able to make the compensation. The only thing that erks me a little is the big boxy size of the center. Makes it hard to place for some setups.

Great beginner Center Channel Speaker

The sound quality is flat and it has a delay in the sound on Bluetooth connnection, It was easy to assemble and it fits well in my entertainment center.

This unit has a speaker impedance of 6 ohms. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. You need to check the specifications of your receiver if it matches the SSCS8.

Amazing sound and value

My amplifier and bookshelf speakers complement one another so well. Only downside is that some content isnt supported for three speakers and unsure of anyway to combine the channels.

Good Speaker

Nothing wrong with the speaker but I had a tough time adjusting it to my Sony receiver. Had to add it electronically to the receiver before it would work.

rite size for the job

Only complaint is it seems to overpower sound from my tower speakers when sitting directly in front but I’m sure that’s just an easy adjustment on receiver settings. Again, at Black Friday prices this one couldn’t be passed up!

Great sounding center.

I was not in the market for a new set of speakers but I saw these go on sale for 1/2 price and I could not resist. My initial setup was a set of Monitor Audio R90 with matching center (made in England version) matched to a HSU VTF-2 MK5 but I always felt that there could be a little more low end out of the front main speakers. The Sonys ended filling in all the detail that was previously missing in the low range while still being very articulate in the high range without being harsh despite have a "super" tweeter. The Core series easily keeps up with speakers going for $300-500/pair. I would say they may sound just as good at lower to moderate volumes as a set of B&W DM series that I used to own. I honestly do not think you can buy a better set of speakers under $300. The only complaint I have is these are not as loud as the Core stereo speakers for some reason. Perhaps they are not as efficient but you should be able to easily compensate for that buy just increasing the center channel volume a few notches.
