Bought this to replace an aging RCA speaker and wow, the difference in the vocals was obvious right away. Nice accurate sound. Nice punch. A little larger than my previous speaker but the wife hasn't said anything yet. Another nice feature; it was on sale.

You would expect a Sony center speaker to be of high quality, both in feel (heft and construction), looks, and sound. This center speaker is excellent in both of these regards. Excellent product.

After reading several reviews on center channels I went to my local Best Buy to put them to the test. In the end the Sony had the best overall quality for the price. Amazing difference from my original center channel, you can actually hear what is being said.

This speaker sounds great. It's clear and handles dialogue very well. It replaces a speaker that's more than 16 years old and puts it to shame. It also looks very good. It handles all the power my receiver puts out with no problem. I have nothing bad to say about this speaker.

Great center for my current setup. Can get very loud on my current setup. I ought this just to march my current speakers. All sony.

Wonderful sound quality great price semi compact size

This speaker is excellent for the price paid. I almost bought another brand but this speaker was on sale. I figured I’d give Sony a chance and I’m glad I did! Excellent speaker! The packaging it came in was alado well designed to protect the speaker.

Our medium size rectangle/almost square size room is perfect for this speaker combined with the two front Sony core tower speakers. Definitely delivers the sound quality/voices come through clearly with music or action sequences at the same time. Would buy again!

Excellent center speaker, but not stand alone. I installed this center before the subwoofer was purchased and the voices were clear but lost the lows. My setup is a 5.1 in a 20 x 30 room and this center speaker was a must for clear voice.

At first, I thought why get this speaker, but after I hooked it up I realized its a vital component to complete sound, especially at the direct front of the system. Really! It was well worth the investment and made listening to movies so much more exciting!

Great Center Speaker at a great sale price. The Sony speaker reproduces the midrange faithfully to enhance the dialogue to my 7.1 receiver. For a smaller sized box speaker it showed no obvious signs of distortion and could handle the power easily.

Great middle channel for my HiFi start. Good value.

Great bang for you buck speakers. If you are not a huge audiophile, these are great for the price, assuming you get them on sale. Did some research on speakers before purchasing and most agree that the sale price makes it a no brainer for entry level speakers.

I don’t think this is the best center channel speaker by any means, but for 140 dollars it’s pretty darned good! And it’s Sony so it’s gonna work forever

After figuring out my new receiver I got here, it sounds amazing ! I would recommend it.

I bought the Sony center to match with the core bookshelf speakers also from Sony. I bought it on sale from Best Buy, but feel it's worthy of the full price purchase. It sounds great for movies and adds depth to dialogue and music alike.

I have a 22 year old SONY stereo. It has given me years of pleasure listening to my music. One of the speakers was in need of repair, so I visited the Best buy store at Destiny Mall for replacements. I looked at less expensive speakers, and landed on these SONY speakers. They match well with my old SONY stereo. These speakers ensure that I will continue to enjoy this stereo that I received as a 40th birthday present at my "Grateful Dead theme" surprise birthday party for many more years.

Good product. Use a center channel speaker for my surround sound. Sounds great.
