I placed it on my fireplace and was totally satisified but when I mounted it to the wall just below my TV it made the system come alive. I am awe struck at the quality of my system now.

I had my eye on a replacement Sony speaker and when it went on sale I jumped on it. Very good sound for the price.

But when I needed another center speaker for my den, I decided to try this one with the Sony floor speakers that were already in place. I am very pleased with the product

This is a must if you have that same issue. Watching a documentary on hulu as I write this and I am very happy. Voices are clear and loud.

Sony Core Series 4" 2 Way Center-Chanel Speaker

After I connected the Sony there was a big difference. Voices were clearer, noticed it improved the response from the surround speakers. Great value!

Excellent speaker, especially for the price

You should pair it with 2 front speakers and 2 back speakers to get the full experience. Since this is manually wired it takes a bit more work to setup than soundbars, but the quality vs price is really solid and worth the effort

Chonky, but sweet

Great center channel

Great central speaker

The only good use for this speaker is for watching movies, for another reason it's not really used. When watching 5.1 surround movies, this speaker rocks!

I delayed a long time to buy it because we don't watch a lot of movies and I wasn't sure it would add anything to music alone. But I'm finding it does add to music without compromising the stereo separation (as I had thought it might). And it's a valuable addition when we do watch movies, helping clarify the dialog (although maybe not as much as I'd expected).
