We have some very large speakers and needed something to push them. We started with these thinking we were going to have to buy something else. But absolutely not! This thing pushes every bit of the sounds that we were hoping for

This central speaker provides high quality audio for the voice channel of the movie. The only good use for this speaker is for watching movies, for another reason it's not really used. When watching 5.1 surround movies, this speaker rocks!

I'm satisfied with this center channel speaker, which we're using with a Sony 7.1 system. I delayed a long time to buy it because we don't watch a lot of movies and I wasn't sure it would add anything to music alone. But I'm finding it does add to music without compromising the stereo separation (as I had thought it might). And it's a valuable addition when we do watch movies, helping clarify the dialog (although maybe not as much as I'd expected).

This center channel is a must if you have either the Sony core series bookshelf speakers or the floor standing speakers. It’s night and day after hooking up this center channel to the rest of my receiver set up.

Wasn't ready to commit to replacing the entire sound system but found myself using closed caption more than I would like to admit. This speaker was the solution! Brought my system back to life and no more closed caption!

I am totally impressesed of the outstanding sound and clarity. Paired up with subwoofer and a nice Yamaha receiver . Feel like thousands and thousands of dollars system. I really can turn it up ! Incredible acoustic cabinet.

After setting up my home AV Entertainment System, I realized that I need a center speaker. I tried Soundbars but the sound delay was prohibitive. I found this gem on sale and it’s been a great edition to my surround sound system.

The quality and the sound that comes out of this speaker is absolutely amazing. I got and amazing deal with the open box item.

I had a dramatic difference in the overall experience with this speaker. Make sure you get this along with the bookshelf or tower speakers. Worth the money and way too cheap compared to the sound quality

Very good speaker for the money, but if you don't have semi-good speakers that it will be completing against it will blow them away and make you want to replace those speakers because the sound quality is so good!

Love this center speaker mostly because it offers amazing sound clarity and it is a welcome replacement for my old one. Design wise this unit looks clean and polished, this is a great product. Totally recommended.

I'm currently looking to rebuild my home theater system. Got this to try with new Sony L/R front speakers. I compared this center speaker to my current center Klipsch and they were pretty close in quality. They sound nice enough, but don't really have much kick to them. As I didn't like the Sony L/R's I wound up returning the center as well to keep the center that matches my current L/R's, but otherwise not a bad speaker.

The Sony Core Series SSCS8 2-way center-channel speaker promises to deliver detailed cross-spectrum sound and it keeps its promise. We enjoy this piece along with our entertainment system and it is a great buy!

Bought this speaker for my mother in law and she loves it. It sounds fantastic and a great upgrade from what she has had for the past 20 years.

Once I was able to get sound from this SonyCenter Channel Speaker I am enjoying the sound immensely. I had to contact Sony for assistance and they were very helpful. There is no distortion and sound is perfectly crisp and clear.

Absolutely love these as Center speakers in my 5.1 setup. Perfectly matched with the Sony Tower and Bookshelf speakers (as rears) in my 5.1 setup. Highly recommended . . .
