Have had this for bout a year and it has good clean sound,even at high volume,you will definitely notice voices are 100 percent clearer and very loud,no distortion at high volume,will pump when it needs too,it's worth the money

...I have this mated with a Sony STRDH590 5.2 Channel Surround Sound Home Theater 4K HDR AV Receiver, Sony - Core Series 5" 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers, and a Sony - Core Series 10" 115W Active Subwoofer...not a super high end system, but for the money I think it sounds great...

Impressed with the core Sony series. Bought this center speaker to pair with Sony - Core Series 5" 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) - Black Model: SSCS5SKU upgrading from Yamaha set I had. Connected to my Sony STRDH720 7.1 Channel 3D AV Receiver and recently upgraded Polk PSW505 subwoofer theater set up is A1 nice packin bang for your buck!! These Sony core series speakers pack a punch without losing clarity and crisp sound. 2 thumbs up!!

The sound quality that comes out of this box is amazing. I knew a center channel would make a difference in watching TV shows and movies, but I didn't think it would be that much of a difference. My only complaint is that the physical size of the speaker is a little larger than I hoped for, but that's just my personal preference based on my setup. Other people may have enough room in their stand for it to sit easier...

grabbed this speaker to round out my 5.1 sound system, made listening ton conversations in movies much easier. Now I don't have to adjust the volume every scene. Will be replacing my other 4 speakers with the rest of the core series

Awesome, the entire set up make my movie room pop. The surround sound makes you feel like you’re apart of what ver you’re watching.

Have this connected to my receiver along with two Sony bookshelf speakers and a sub. The turntable sounds great and when I run the TV through the system it's not quite surround sound but it sure is satisfying.

I never realized center speakers were specially designed for that channel until advised by Best Buy...so I purchased this one for my new 5.1 channel receiver. I had been using just an ordinary speaker I had around the house, although a nice one. I really feel it made a difference in the quality of the sound I heard. I think this is a great speaker for the price. I would recommend it.

I got the 2 tower speakers 1 sub speaker and my new center speaker and the Sony hi ress receiver set for the front all I need is the two back speakers best set I collected them one or two at a time when you have what I have at the end it is a wonderful thing nothing but jaw dropping sound super tweeters are the best I recently got a magic mic system for my wife better that a kareoke place hands down very expressed thank you Sony and best buy

Coming from a sound bar to this is like someone cupping your ears and then letting go! So crisp. I’ve never heard dialogue so clearly in my life. I have the whole ecosystem of these Sony speakers and it’s amazing

I own a variety of SONY products tv's,camera's, an AV receiver , all of which I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of, and with my purchase of this Sony product , I'll add this speaker to my list. Great sound at a good price...

I was stuck between this center and Polk. I finally got to a magnolia at best buy and tested them both out. As I suspected Sony was untouchable and a bit smaller in size. Also brought this open box so bonus n the savings.

Great center channel, really unleashes the sound in my 5.1 surround sound system

This center speaker is great at bringing out dialog crisply even at low volume. On sale it is a quite a bargain. My only negative is that it is a bit larger than I would have preferred.
