Loving it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not had it that long, but so far it has been great! I have had a Sony A7, and have a A6000...they work amazing. This reminds me a lot of those cameras. The menu system is pretty much identical from what I can tell, and the only thing missing is a mic input jack and 1 more dial would be great so that you could adjust shutter speed and aperture independently without having to toggle what the wheel does. If you are looking for a good, affordable vlogging camera or just something better than your smartphone camera, give this a shot. Also....30X OPTICAL ZOOM is amazing in this little camera! One more thing....the pop up view finder is great for those sunny days when it is hard to see the screen on the back.

pocket camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a small pocket size camera. This one works great. It takes good pictures. I have only one regret. I do not like that I have to pop up the flash. I also worry the flash might break off.

Love this camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera was exactly what I was looking for. I am still learning how to use all the special features and effects. The 30x zoom lens is exceptional for such a small camera. That was one of the reasons I purchased this model. I was able to take some nice photos of the eclipse and totality with just solar filter paper and masking tape. All my photos are crisp and sharp. Love the WiFi feature so I can easily send photos to my IPHONE and send to friends and family. For the price, this little camera is a big bang for the buck. Highly recommend!

Great camera for travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect size for travel. It has a view finder which is great if you have glare. The zoom is good and the low light feature is good. It weighs less than a pound and you can use a small camera case on your belt.

Great Quality, Convenient Size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Normally I research multiple reviews before making a sizable electronic purchase like this. That said I picked up this camera on a whim ahead of a vacation to Costa Rica and so glad I did! I’ve always liked Sony cameras for their photo quality and this one did not fail to impress, especially the zoom features. The video recording is very nice as well. Managed to take some amazing footage of a fight with a blue marlin on a fishing trip during my holiday as well as some great clips of capuchin monkeys in the rainforest. If you’re in the market for a pocket camera in the $300 range give this one a look, you won’t be disappointed!

Great point and shoot camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for something more portable than our SLR and this one checked all our boxes. It was small, works well in low-light, doesn't blur easily with motion and wasn't too expensive. Great camera!

Overall solid camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a point and shoot the video/picture quality surprised me, seeing as I haven't owned a standalone camera since I got the iPhone 4 back in 2012. I really enjoy the zoom on this camera able to capture the craters on the moon given the right setting pending on lighting conditions. I like the menu system its almost like a mini computer, lots to explore even a button for help on how to get a good shot. Its easy to transmit the photos taken from the camera over wifi with the app, videos on the other side are not as easy unless you have them set to record in any of the mp4 video capture settings. The highest encoding setting for video capture "XVAC S HD" requires an SDXC Class10 or UHS-I memory card, which is fine I personally bought whatever was recommended and its not compatible with this setting but the fancy Sony SD card my brother got me for my birthday does work in this format. Personally I don't really notice too much of a difference in quality between this setting and the "AVCHD" encoding setting. Maybe it does something different if you are trying to edit video. I just downloaded Avid's Media Composer so i'm going to be playing around more with those settings. Long story short for the price the camera is pretty solid for a point and shoot (main features I like about it are the articulating screen and the 24mm-720mm zoom range). The auto focus is solid and the camera can even achieve the depth of field effect given the right conditions. If it breaks I probably wouldn't buy it again but that's because I would use the broken camera as an excuse to upgrade. Still probably going to check out sony though when it comes to that.

Great for beginners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was wanting to buy a blog camera for my YouTube and the canon g7x was way too much. For the price, the quality is great and good for a beginner spending their own money. Flip is screen is great.

Camara is Ok!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camara is ok, but a little slow. When try to take pictures with flash is difficult to focus and take too much time to take the picture.

Good point and shoot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously had nice canon with zoom lenses, which died. Got this to replace it as I wanted something smaller to travel with and easier for my husband to use. Great fit for those needs.

Awesome camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing camera. I have a little girl that runs a lot and the camera takes pictures without the blur in them. And the screen flips up so it's great for selfies.
