Surprisingly Awesome!

When looking at reviews and sales, I came across this one. I was surprised at its capabilities. Being I am headed to Europe in May, this is the perfect solution to not always being able to carry my big Canon and all the accessories on tours. I love it. I also appreciated Nick in the Camelback & 20th St store in Phoenix for helping me get it set up!

Great pictures in a small package

It’s Not for Novices

It’s complicated and getting videos off the camera is ridiculously cumbersome and on top of that you have to have two different phone apps and install an app on your computer! What I dislike the most is the size. It is honestly much too small; the size of a fat credit card. Had I noticed the size I would not have purchased. Also the photos are no better than that of a cell phone.

Sony's best long telephoto point and shoot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony DSC HX80 was a replacement for a Sony DSC-WX50 purchased at Best Buy four years prior, that i captured almost 60,000 images with, so i knew Sony could do the long haul,and I couldnt pass up the Best Buy deal for the HX80 and its 30x telephoto and pop up electronic viewfinder...great for sunny days when the main screen is overcome with glare....more than pleased with the color capture and sharpness of the images.Sony's best long range point and shoot with manual options.
