I have been able to use this on a recent vacation and can say that the quality and ease of use has been great. It has a bunch of great default settings to use depending on your scene. You even have the advantage of being able to flip the screen and take selfies or take different angles by using the screen. The pop up flash works well. There is also a pop up viewer if you need. It also takes great videos.

Needed a camera with a really good zoom being the iphones zoom sucks. And so far this camera exceeded my expectations. The zoom is as good as it gets for this price point. The camera is easy to use for beginners and idiots like myself. Best bang for the buck point and shot camera on the market in my opinion. This squirrel was about 35 ft from me. With my iPhone he or she was blurred to the point of a brown smudge.

It takes a while to get used to the small,small size of this camera. Because it is so small, all the manual features are small & close together. I feel the on/off button should be at the right end, like my last Sony, rather than the middle of the camera-it is somewhat awkward to put it on and off (though I guess you get used to it). On the positive side, the size allows you to easily put it in your pocket, therefore always having it around to take unexpected pictures. The fact that such a little camera has a nice size zoom is amazing

Super compact, love the size. Easy to carry with you at all times. Holds a charge wonderfully. Shoots good pictures, tons of options and settings.

I did my research as I was looking for a small camera that has at least 30 zoom not to mention all other bells and whistles. Smaller than I could have ever imagined but I love it! Love the size. It fits every where! It's the kind of camera you can keep in your handbag as you would your cosmetic purse. I also have another Sony which has Zoom but is much larger. But I like that this camera uses the same battery so I'll always have an extra. Looks more complicated than it is. Just play with it and you'll get used to using it. Definitely recommend.

Bought this cute or daughter who YouTube's. Small, lightweight, prefect angles, screen is great. Perfect camera for a movie.

This camera works well for what I needed. I use it mostly for selling online. I tried two other cameras before arriving at this one. It gives me good sharp photos without having to manipulate them in a photo processing software.

I wouldn't consider myself a professional photographer, however, I still like taking photographs in my spare time. Most of my cameras have always been the Sony brand as they usually provide great pictures when compared to the competition and although this isn't the higher end models, it still takes good photos and videos. It's very compact and the tilting screen definitely comes in handy. Overall, if you're looking for a compact camera that can take good pictures and videos, I'd highly recommend giving this unit a look.

Great point and shoot camera for the price. The zoom is amazing. Size is similar to that of a phone so no extra weight and can take anywhere.The color and details on the photos are great. Preset modes make it easy to use, but also has manual mode to take pictures. The only bad part is the display and view screen. Horrible to see with any glare or light on the screen. Need to get a anti glare cover or screen. Other than that a great easy to carry camera that takes awesome photos.

I got this camera as a back up to my Nikon DSLR which has gotten to be a little too heavy for travel. I love that camera but opted to get a better quality point & shoot with a decent zoom. While I haven't traveled with the new Sony just yet, the photos I've taken look pretty good and I am pleased with the quality of the zoom. It's a little bit smaller than I'd like it to be, and the controls could be a tiny bit bigger. However, it's light and compact which is what I wanted. The speed with which the images are written to the card is good.

I wanted a small camera that would fit in my pocket or purse and this one is perfect. It does a lot for a little camera and I have already taken some really cool photos and videos with it. I love how I can transfer over the pictures to my phone quickly so I can put the pictures on social media. No need to carry wires around, you can transfer pictures from anywhere. And it takes better pictures than my iphone.

I purchased this camera for the start up of my YouTube channel. This camera has good features, for example the flip up zoom, the automatic turn on/off when you use it. The view is good for beginners. Clear and gets the job done!

This is a very good camera to use especially when traveling. The pop up view finder allows you to view your subjects that otherwise may be blotted out by sun light.Very compact size with big zoom and numerous features

Bought this for my parents who are not great with tech. The app for the tablet is great for them to upload pics to share and the camera is perfect for easy to use point and shoot cameras. Pictures come out great!

So far this camera is performing very good results. First, this camera is compact enough to carry in my pocket, Second; it packed with lots of function; Third; zoom function can provide a wide range of coverage.

I take this camera on hiking trips. Great pictures and video. Size and weight are perfect. Better than a cellphone!!

This is my first real camera and I read in someone else's review that it is a suitable replacement for a full DSLR camera. Well now that I've had it almost a month and taken some online photography classes I've found that that review was correct :) It has almost all the features of a full DSLR camera, aside from interchangeable lenses of course at a lower price and in a compact and easy to travel with size. I really love this little camera! :)
