good camera for anybody to use /price was good takes decent photos and video battery system could be better

I really liked the camera alot. I had to return it because it was not exactly what I wanted. They - at the store - said it was 15 days that you had to return things!! Sorry - but they need to make that a little bit longer - like 30 days!! Sometimes you don't have the chance to go that fast!! Like I said in my summary --- Fine Camera - Best Buy Not!! That is why 4 stars!

Eats batteries like crazy.... went through 12 AA batteries to get 32 pictures... using good Quality batteries. On a positive note - this camera takes postcard quality photo's , was very impressed with the Photos it took. Returned it for the 400 and am very happy with it.

Has decent optical zoom and glass lens, also is quite easy to use. Purchased this one for my dad, and he is happy with it!

This Canon DSC-H300 Point & Shoot Camera does a very good job for the price. Don't expect the same quality as you would for a DSLR or A Mirrorless Sony. If you require more professional photos in a Point & Shoot consider stepping up the RX series. But This does take very good photos and great for Vacations and general use

Price was very good! It takes great pictures details in shot better than I though would be. If you use a wifi memory card download your pictures quickly as it drain's the battery's

I bought this camera for my 15 year old daughter. This camera is great, the picture of the quality is perfect and is very easy to use. I definitely recommend it.

I bought this point and shoot camera for basic photo taking of real estate. Works as expected with clear photos but now the real test starts, quality. Would have been nice if I could change out the lens but I was not going to spend twice what I paid or more. I have not taken video so I can’t say anything about that feature.

I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA EVEN THO I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE...I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL.

Good camera for the price can beat it portable and not to heavy

The Sony DSC-H300 is styled like a much more expensive camera. I wanted a camera that I could use as a simple point and shoot but with additional options when I wanted to use them. I love the zoom/wide angle capabilities. The screen gives you a real time look at what you're doing with them. For indoor shooting I found that there is some delay between the click and the actual capture. This can be frustrating when trying to capture a moment. Basically I am very happy with the H300. Given that it's priced at less than $200, it delivers a lot for the money.

Used this at a number of events. Took some great photos. Great for starters and those looking to get into photography.

Got this camera for my wife because she wanted good pix w/o the complications of a SLR. Took it to the coast and the pix are great! Easy and fun.

We had a real nice Cannon that was twice the dollars, about the same zoom but was more compact. When it finally died, was looking for a camera with a stronger flash (we're a band, and lighting of audience isn't good in most nightclubs). We knew this was a bit more awkward to carry around but the photos are so much better than our previous camera or my IPhone 12.

Since this is a first digital camera for me it is taking me awhile to even learn the basics. I am looking forward to learning though,.

I really like this camera. the handle grip feels good. the screen is large enough to view pictures. Only thing i dont care for is, there is no peep hole to hold camera to eye. My hands shake a little so its hard to focus the picture. I've taken very nice still pictures though.

We bought this camera for our daughter. It's her first camera. We were able to set it up quickly and easily. She has been able to take photos of animals and butterflies, and is very happy with it. She did try taking a few photos at a basketball game but they came out blurry. Still, this is a good beginner's camera for the price.

Purchased this camera to learn options to take pics, pics come out great, I place it on a tripod and was able to have it do a long video, the one part in the video it goes blurry in one section, have not figured out why it does that, everything else works well.

I love the simplicity of this camera along with the great zoom features. I will be using this Sony for sports action shots and so far so good.
