The one thing I would like to see is a rechargeable battery but all in all a nice little package.

The pictures are clear and the zoom is awesome. The only negative comment i have is that taking pictures in low light condition is challenging, even in auto mode. Great camera for the price.

She was thrilled - camera was everything she needed as a beginner; unfortunately there were issues with the camera turning on. Clicking noise - no power. Batteries were brand new and installed correctly. We would move batteries around with our finger and sometimes it would turn on. We returned the camera and upgraded to a Canon with rechargeable battery.

Easy to use for a beginner

The zoom worked fabulously and I was able to find the necessary batteries without worrying about recharging batteries. My camera dropped from my lap and only sustained a small scratch. Totally worth the price!!!

perfect entry level camera

This is the perfect next step. It is just as easy to use-although the storage of the photos on the camera always confounds me. It used regular batteries but I already use rechargeables so am able to use either and be green or in a battery emergency use regular ones. Lovely photos. I am NOT a professional but do like great photos.
