Not only was this the perfect DVD player. The store personnel made the purchase so easy. I was trying to replace one and the clerk specifically verified the needs I have. I went on her suggestion and bought this one. They had an open box special as well, so I was able to save more money. You never go wrong with Best Buy. Excellent product, excellent value and tremendous service.

As basic as they get. It's small and easy to use. No HDMI but it's for a child who doesn't care about video fidelity rather the ability to play movies. Sometimes it's a little slow to load, but nothing serious. It works, it was cheap, I wouldn't put it in my system, but for what it is, it is just fine.

Had to purchase a dvd player. This was perfect size, easy to setup and can play dvd's fast. No wait between putting in the disc and when it gets to the screen. Cheap price.

Great product, great price. Our DVD/CD player needed replacing but we already had surround sound and speakers, etc, that are over 10 years old and do not have HDMI. This unit worked with our existing set up! The remote control even controls the volume on our surround sound/receiver. It plays CD's and DVD's. You do have to leave the TV on while playing CD's but it darkens the screen so it is not obtrusive. So glad we did not have to replace our entire sound system! $ Under $40.

This was purchased for my son's room. It is easy for him to use. He is 5. It is the perfect size and had all the features we were looking wanting. The price was good too.

This player is great for the money. It works great, was easy to set up and is more compact than my old player. Highly recommend it.

The remote is a lot easier for me to see. Works well and i have always liked sony products. Would of given 5 star but these units do not have HDMI. The video cable it comes with was a little to short and a longer one had to be purchased separately. Despite this I am still happy with this purchase and I say its a good value and priced right.

The DVD has a very clear picture & I have no problems with it at all. It is small so fits in a small space. Good equipment for the price.

I purchased this to replace a 15 year old Sony DVD player. The quality is still there, and the price was right. The overall performance of this DVD player is very good. I will admit that I purchased this so that my massive DVD collection didn't go to waste, and I'm not spending the money to convert most of them to digital. With the advent of digital services, it's only a matter of time that these will go the way of the VHS player. The saving grace is that DVD's have a longer useful life than tapes. I'm very happy with my purchase. If I get 15 years out of this Sony, like the one it replaced I will, indeed, be a happy man.

This Sony product is compact and easy to set up. Connections were well identified and relatively simple. Picture quality is very good, especially for those discs recorded in XP.

Great little DVD player, Install was super easy. Great bang for the buck. Remote is very easy to read and use.

I was looking for a small inexpensive player use in an exercise room. This fit the bill nicely. Easy to use, compact, and quality is good.

Our old DVD lost the audio track so we had to replace it just as we were ready to view a DVD. We were delightfully surprised that Best Buy was open on New Year's Day. I searched on line for the best DVD player compatible with our JVC analog TV and this model came highly recommended. As the reviews stated this DVD player was easy to set and easy to use. The picture and sound quality is great!
