Had some burnt dvd's and this player will read and download them. Comes with batteries for the remote. Does not come with hdmi cable, which is disappointing.

He learned to operate it very quickly since ease of use is great. Another Sony product that is awesome.

A Solid Basic DVD Player

I'm a little tired of every device I own having ten other functions I do not need, because every other device I own performs those same ten functions.

Easy to utilize and the discs have played great thus far. Very happy with the purchase.

Great little basic DVD player

My grandmother wanted a DVD player that would "show a good picture" without being complicated. The SMART players can be very confusing, so BluRay was out. This was the perfect option. She's happy. It's easy to use.

Stuck on Sony

I've been so pleased with Sony products that I just looked for a player that matched the TV. So far, everything is going great and I'm enjoying watching movies with my new DVD player.

It's light, small and delivers in all aspects. Bought it on special and I'm happy with my purchase.
