This Sony DVD player was easy to install (replace an existing one that had crapped out after a long life). Not a heavy DVD user (one or two per week) so can't comment on how long it will last.

I purchased this jewel because of all the DVD’s I have collected in times past and they was not getting no love. Sony and Best Buy have made my day!

We’ve purchased this same player before and after several years it stopped playing discs. But we love this one and bought the same one to replace it. Affordable and good quality.

Needed a new DVD player for the new TV. The Sony could not be easier to install. The picture quality is outstanding, and the Sony is even compatible with my old receiver.

Got this to replace a blu-ray player that refused to play an entire red box Blu-ray Disc. It's very easy to operate, remote is simple and user friendly. Very satisfied overall, a great price too.

I bought this because my daughter got me a dvd for Christmas and I can't find the power cord for the dvd player I currently have. There is nothing special with this unit but it plays dvds like it is supposed to. It feels a bit cheap like it is going to break but so far so good. If you are looking for a no-frills dvd player this one should work for you.

Purchased for my mom. Very small unit that's super easy to use. Excellent choice for someone looking for a DVD player that installs easily and who want's a DVD player that is straight forward and not complicated.

What I like most about Sony, I purchased 2 of their DVDS, is they make it simple to plug up and into. No bells, no whistles, just plain plugs and outlets ready to for operation.

I don’t actually use this for DVDs. I only use it for CDs sounds great using coaxial cable into my DAC. Loving it and the price was right!
