We have been very pleased with this purchase. We chose Sony because of our very positive experience with Sony products over the years. The only thing I would remark on is that the pilot light is rather dim for normal room light levels. In conjunction with the slight delay in responding to the power switch, we wondered for a few moments whether the unit was working. Once you know what to expect, there is no problem at all.

This is our 5th Sony DVD player! Plays great & has excellent picture. Love that if paused too long it shuts itself off, but saves where you had it paused

I bought this for the grand children to use in the playroom to watch DVD movies and haven't heard a single complaint. That says a lot. I give it 5 stars because it is totally hastle free.

SONY makes a great product and I needed a stand-alone DVD/CD player when I replaced my computer which I would use to play DVDs on a smart TV. This new player fills the void.

Got this s to play CDs on my stereo in the garage, it works without so much as a pickup! Very pleased with this unit. Sony builds quality products

Functional DVD/CD player with HDMI out and 1080 upscaling. Good audio quality playing CDs. Multi-function remote works basic functions of some TVs. Fairly compact footprint.

I went to best buy just to get a decent dvd player, I then bought the Sony DVD Player and was astonished by it's quality having in mind it's price!

Item arrived as scheduled and in good condition. Was easy to install and works well. My only complaint would be that the disc tray is slow to open and initially led me to think it was not working.

Checked on line for the best Smart Tv for my preferences and Budget as well as High Definition Blue Ray Player. It was quick and easy to find both with Best's search feature and they had the Best Price between other top Retailers, including Amazon. Shipping was Free and Best Buy offers setup assistant... though I did not need this, it is nice to know they have it. On-Line beats in Person Shopping - sorry to say - but it does. Thank You - All

My Sony DVD works well. The price was very fair. It is new to me but has worked very well. as is typical of Sony products. Best Buy continues to get my electronic business.

I needed a small DVD player, nothing fancy, for a temporary situation for the summer. At an affordable price, this player provides quality playback with a small footprint. Love it!
