I bought this Sony DVD player to upgrade an older Samsung model that did not have an HDMI output. This is a good DVD player for the price.

It did what we needed it to do. There just are some old movies we have on DVD and we like to watch them sometimes. This Sony works perfectly.

Just what I was looking for! Streaming is nice, but if your WiFi goes down in a storm or something similar, you are stuck! Also, your limited by what’s available on which subscription, so expanding our dvd collection and getting more DVD players was the right choice! This is the second of the same DVD player we have bought and love Sony!

The dvd player works well. It takes a bit to "warm" up before the ability to access the controls, but once warmed up works very well.

Turns out the person I bought this for already had it and LOVES IT. So I did return it. However, I know that this is a quality item.
