It is as good as i had hoped. It is not blueray. But still not a bad picture for the cost.

I bought two of these, one for living room, one for bedroom. Easy to hook-up. Works great for VHS converted cd's.

Simply just great DVD player. Always buy Japanese brands for electronics. They always works.

So far excellent DVD player. I needed an additional analog audio connection and this DVD had one as well as HDMI. Works great for my zone two audio only.
