    Good price for standard device. This product works well for purposes of simple DVD playing. Have not used it for any other purpose yet but will try that in the future.

    Works fine, but miss having the front display that shows how much time has elapsed etc. Needed this to get the HDMI connection for my new tv. Like everything these days, I wish it came with a better (or SOME) manual and remote explanation.

    I went into the Pasadena, CA Best Buy to see about connecting my VHS DVD player to my Samsung 40" tv but the representative informed me that VHS are considered obsolete and the tape deteriorate and it is preferred that I only use DVD as the disks lasts longer. So I purchased the Sony DVD player which I have no complaints with.

    This is a good product. It works fine for dvds and cds. The remote also works the TV's on/off and volume features.
