Bought as 3rd one, just for DVD's, don't need blu ray or internet features. Don't like that the function buttons are on top, hard to get to, especially if up on a shelf. Power lite is on top, too, hard to see if it's on. But so far, plays fine. Hope it lasts.

I was just purchasing a replacement DVD Player for my Child, and received an unexpected product that was a great value ans very easy to connect and control. I look forward to purchasing a Sony Product in the future.

It does what it is supposed to do is to play CD music for my component stereo system. Now I can enjoy playing my old CDs again since my older one broke.

This is a terrific little DVD player for casual viewing of DVDs. Nothing fancy, it just works well. I needed a unit with HDMI output due to the limited inputs on my flatscreen TV. This one does the job nicely.

Have had no issues with the system or how it plays. It doesnt have the bells and whistles but definitely a great player for the price. Afterall its for playing videos.. so its EXCELLENT for the younger kids rooms since all they want to do is watch their favorite movies

Good deal and worth it. Haven’t installed it yet but should this weekend.

It was the best it worked like it should does everything it says

It took me quite awhile to hook it up, because I’m unfamiliar with electronics and hook-up. The explanation given to hook it up was difficult to followed. Otherwise good

We needed a particular DVD player to use with a Guardian to block profanity. The DVD player did play regular & Blu ray DVD’s. Just not sure if it was the DVD player or Guardian that didn’t work the way we needed it so we returned both.

I have it connected to an overhead projector but wanted the HDMI audio to go to a sound bar. After reading through the manual, it wasn't real clear how to do that. But with some trial and different settings, I finally figured it out and it works very well... just as I wanted it to.

Perfect for playing exercise videos in our gym. Simple "plug and play." Nothing fancy or confusing. The housing is a bit tinny but we upgrade technology often enough to not let that bother us. The price was reasonable.

Excellent DVD player, very easy to install and use.

I picked this DVD player because it can play all of my old recorded media - including CD's. The price was great also. This is just what I needed.

Easy to set up. The universal remote doesn't completely cover all the commands on the TV, but adequate. Will see how long before it fails, they all do. Last one was a Samsung, got about 3yrs.

It's a DVD player. Nothing special about it. It makes a low noise when the DVD is spinning. I tend to have my movies loud and haven't noticed the sound during a movie. Probably the same DVD player being sold 10 years ago for $100 or more.

The machine works well - plenty of resolution, and the purchase and delivery processes went well. No question: this is the best performing DVD player we have had over all these years.

This DVD player is slim and sleek looking and can be hidden under your tv easily. Color is good. Sound is good and works well.

Excellent product, a gift for a friend who did not have a DVD player. He is very grateful to have a DVD player.
