We bought this as a cheap replacement for another DVD player and had problems with its setup that we haven't encountered before. It wouldn't recognize 4x3 content, instead stretching it to 16x9, and it kept letting sound lapse out of sync with the picture until I ran the audio through a separate set of cables. When I attempted to address these problems through the DVD player settings menu itself, I found the menu difficult to navigate.

This Sony DVD player worked out of the box. It also was compatible with the remote for my new Sony TV. It plays music CD's in addition to all of my old collection of DVDs.

If it is like our other Sony dvd player it is a good one. Our other one the door won't open so got it for hubby for Christmas and the price is good too $44

We purchased for the workout room. It didn’t play some of the workout Blu-ray’s. It played dvd’s and some Blu-ray’s, just not the workout ones for some reason.

This is an upgrade and addition to the great equipment we've recently gotten at Best Buy .... we now have a Smart TV and this addition will be great too!

Very basic. I don't use it often and it has a HDMI output which was important to me. Works great for my use.

I have owned a lot of DVD players over the years. This product is well made, does not get hot (like other players I have owned) and provides a sharp image.

Great device for watching or listening anything on a disk.

Overall the player is working fine. I have had some remote control issues. Don't know if batteries are low.

Easy plug and play. Chose this one because of the HD and it was the cheapest at the time. Good buy, standard met. I know I could have purchased a more technically equipped machine, but just needed it to see a redbox rental.

Good player. But the eject button doesn’t respond most of the time.

Some of us still use a dvr & this one does the job. Easy set up, great price. Doesn't get alot of use but so far no issues

We brought this for my mom, hers broke and she needed something good but inexpensive and this was perfect.

Traded Samsung phones. Reps were helpful. But unfortunately since Best Buy has taken all the actual Samsung reps who are troubleshooters out of the stores, it's difficult when a problem arises.
