After only one month, this product failed miserably The picture would keep flicking off and on repeatedly, then go to a noisy snowy screen on any DVD we tried. No, I would not recommend this product.

We bought this model based on a salesperson saying he thought this particular Sony DVD player could be enabled to view international DVDs which, unfortunately, was not the case. We were unable to change the region code in order to do so & wound up returning it to the store.

1st one returned due to loading disk issues and the 2nd one also has the same but not as bad. Do not see any picture improvements over a standard DVD player.

Not worth the price

I paid $45.00 for something that should have been $25.00. It has and outdated look to it and it made my dvds skip

The unit worked great for about a month until it stopped responding to remote. I always got a static shock when I went to open the DVD drawer so I suspect that killed the IR receiver on the unit. Sony is going to replace the unit but given the short time this one lasted I don't know if it will be a good unit for the long run. We'll see...

Doesn't respond to the remote and takes a long time to play a DVD

Low end DVD player was defective and returned, Controls didn't work much of the time even after batteries changed. Playback jammed even after DVD's cleaned.

Power button on top is a design flaw

Cannot see if power is on because of placement of the indicator light on top of the device. Should have been on the front panel so it could be seen no matter the height of the device.

makes a lot of noise at times when playing a DVDS and the track sounds like it already needs WD-40 even though it's brand new. I would recommend buying a different DVD PLAYER
Hello Little3433, thank you for your message. To troubleshoot your unit, replace the cable you are using to hook up to your TV. Also try to perform a power reset by unplugging it from the AC outlet for 1 minute and plug it back in directly to another jack into your TV. Best regards, Oscar.

TO BE A SONY.I WAS SUPPRIZED BY THE LACK OF QUAULITY. IT DOESN'T TRACK WELL AND THE SOUND CAN BE AWFUL.
