Good picture, but sensitive to HDMI cable quality

Plugged it in the same port location, and the Sony player kept cutting in and out video. After swapping the HDMI cable from $2 one to $30 (high quality) cable, problem went away. Make sure you have good quality HDMI cable with this player.

We had been using a portable DVD player made by Sony for about 13 years until it stopped working. We shall see how long this product lasts.

It's a straight forward DVD player without internet or blue-ray and that's all I wanted. It does the job I ask it to do and nothing else. Above all, it's still working!
