Product defective upon arrival.

The item was received defective; does not work since hooked up; I also tried to use it on two different TV's; The TV's did not recognize that a DVD is loaded. Also, no customer service phone number was provided to request technical support.

Never worked again after one use. No color and keeps shutting off video while audio continues. Too bad I didn't buy extended service. I expect a product to perform as advertised. No more Sony for me.

Make sure the cables are securely connected to the player and plugged. 2. Try to connect the unit into a different TV or ports. 3. Replace the RCA cables for new ones. - Oscar.

Generally meets my needs, but with serious limitations: Buttons on player are hard to push and often require several tries. Buttons on remote are flimsy. No capability (at least none I have found) to repeat playing CD continuously. Instructions are hard to understand. Drawbacks are not serious enough to return player, but probably would consider alternatives if buying another one.

I don't even know if the picture or quality is good because I can't plug it in. the box says that the cord is not provided, but the on-line details does not. Why can't BestBuy.com notify you or ask you if you need the cord on check out? Other websites do that!
