worked fine for a while but eventually stopped working a little bit after warranty expired. Bestbuy and manufacturer would not accept back even though only a few weeks after 1 year warranty

Despite accessing all adjustment options, sound quality was frequently like having tin cans over your ears. No, I do not recommend these aids.

I'm greatly disappointed in the quality of these hearing aids. They work just fine when they are working; however, within 6 months of using, the case started to not charge the hearing aids. I kept thinking it was a human error/ faulty outlet etc. so kept dealing with a very poor charge for a couple months until contacting Sony. I was sent a new pair and the same thing happened where the case completely stopped working and charging the hearing aids within two months! They are sending me out a new pair, but I am not that optimistic about them working for very long. I hope this pair works because my warranty has now officially expired.

I purchased these for my father in law. They have excellent customer service & support. They work wonderfully.

These units are garbage. Although they connected the setup failed time and time again. Don't waste your money on this garbage. Sony shame on you for providing sub-standard products at such a high cost.

I have been using the Sony CRE-E10 OTC Self Fitting Hearing Aids for a few days now. That's enough time in the real world to really get a sense of what they're like. In the box you get: - Sony CRE-E10 hearing aids - USB Cable (no charging wall wart, cable only) - cleaning tool and cleaning cloth - 3 additional pairs of sleeve (bud) covers (XS, M, L) FYI the Sony CRE-E10 ship with Small Covers, so you have 4 sleeves/bud covers in total. The Sony CRE-E10's look really nice, the case is slim and the whole design aesthetic is what you would expect from Sony. Fit wise, they sit snugly inside your ear canal. There's no hearing aid wire, the little wire you use to pull out hearing aids, so removal is not as easy as true hearing aids. Not a negative, just something to know. Setup was a little more difficult and involved than I expected. There's a dedicated app for Android and iOS. I did all of this on iOS. Setup requires creating and verifying a Sony account, you can't just 'use' the app after installing. The next step is to setup and 'tune' the CRE-E10's and it was more complicated than comparable hearing aids I have tested - requiring me to turn off bluetooth, change the accessibility settings, then turn them on afterwards, etc. It took about 30min to get them setup properly between the hearing test and troubleshooting why, the first time, I wasn't hearing anything - but after I reset the hearing aids and did the process again, it all worked. My advice is set them up at night, somewhere silent (closet, inside your car, etc) and give yourself a good 30min to do it properly. Once the CRE-E10's are setup they results are excellent. The Sony Hearing Control app itself is also great, you can adjust the volume, adjust directional hearing, even fine tune treble and bass. I have not seen ANY other OTC hearing aid offer this level of fine tuning and it has helped me get better use and a better experience - sitting at a long holiday dinner table and have people on your left and right and you can tune the audio to this. It's amazing, especially when I was at a end of year work holiday dinner. Overall, I am impressed, happy, and the Sony CRE-E10's are now my default. I'd give 5 stars, but I don't see why I had to create a Sony account before I was able to set them up and use them. Unexpected BONUS SURPRISE is that the case is Wireless Qi charger compatible. I'm surprised Sony don't make a big deal of this feature, it's mentioned on p27 of the manual. I have tested Qi charging and it works. This is a big plus with the Sony CRE-E10's and has made them my favorite.

I had trouble synching it with my I phone plus the sound was not natural when using TV so returned it.

the device went to my mother, she did not hear anything on the left side, and 50% of hearing on the right. and she understands very well what to talk to her.

To much background noise. Would not stay in my ear resulting in my losing the left one . Not satisfied.

The Sony ITE Self-Fitting OTC Hearing Aid in black were a welcome find. While my hearing loss is not very great, it is difficult to distinguish sounds in noisy environments. These helped that some what. They can be connected to my computer, TV and other devices via bluetooth which enables the sound to be adjusted easily so I can hear straight from the sources. This was very helpful. The app was easy to find and set up. The unit comes with a set of different sized "plugs" so you can find the best fit for your ears. They were easy to change out. Putting the aids in is very easy and they naturally "set" in your ears. The hearing aids work without the app or a connected smart phone but with limited functionality. Getting the hearing aids set up with the app did take a couple of tries and once they were recognized the test took about ten minutes to complete. After the initial setup you can adjust as necessary through the app. The battery life is pretty substantial. Most days the battery life lasted the full day. There are really only two negatives I found to the hearing aids: 1) they are very noticeable, although the young kids will just think you have ear buds in your ears. 2) the power cord does not come with a plug. It also is a USB A to USB C cord. Most new computers and laptops do not have a USB A port so an adapter will be necessary. It should include a USB C to USB C cord and power plug. If these had been included I would have rated them 5 stars rather than 4.

Got these for my Mom, and they have been a game changer!

After battling the worst app ever created, charging nightmare, and minimal use my right hearing aid is completely dead. I'm working in Asia and Sony offers ZERO support here. Yeah, the Japanese company that won't even let you into their support website from Asia. Don't waste your money like I did. Thank God Apple has added OTC hearing aid capabilities to the Airpods Pro 2 with iOS 18 so I can get by for now.

Great value for a hearing aid, more expensive ones are not as good

The product was easy to set up and helped immensely.

I returned this product. It did a poor job of handling a variety of audio settings. When outside in any wind, the ambient noise overpowered any voices. When inside, the product didn't make the voices much easier to hear. When streaming music, the audio quality was mediocre. An easy pass, especially at this print point

The hearing aids are like having a rock in your ear. Uncomfortable and makes my ears sore. Also I prefer using batteries gives me freedom. No official instructions on how to connect to my iPhone.

The more I wear these the more I like them. They look like regular earbuds so it isn't obvious that I have on hearing aids. That is a huge plus. The battery life is great they last all day. The specifications from Sony say they will last up to 26 hours. I wear them all day/night and charge overnight while sleeping. They last all day and are ready to go the next morning. Of course I charged them and put in my ears without installing the app on my phone. The have a tremendous microphone because they picked up every single bit of noise. I have an iphone and ran into a bit of trouble trying to pair the hearing aids with my phone. Finally got them linked under the accessibility/hearing area, not via Bluetooth function on the iphone. Had to turn them off (put in the case) and turn back on (take out of the case) to finally get the hearing setup process in the app functioning properly. I found the the setup to be a bit frustrating as I wasn't hearing the beeps and had no way to know what I was supposed to be hearing. Also, I had no way to know how many times I was going to go through this test on each ear. Thus, I didn't know if it was redoing the same test because I wasn't hearing what I was supposed to hear OR if it is doing the same test in different tones. (It was doing the latter I think). Also, there was no indication of how many tones (times) it would test. Once I got through the setup the the volume of my own voice was quite loud and it sounded very nasal. I used the "Fine Tuning" function in the app and it took care of both of those issues. Invest the time in setting these up and you will be happy with the results. I was afraid these might fall out and I might loose them but after several weeks I can say they stay in my ears with no issues. Also, you forget they are there after a few days. If the setup process and been less trying these would be 5 stars. Love that they recharge and don't require batteries. The microphone picks up every bit of noise. Amazing how the "ding" of a text message announcement sounds, never really heard how crisp and lyrical it sounds before. I have the volume set very low and it works great.

Sound quality when using Bluetooth is terrible, all sounds are amplified. I have trouble hearing in noisy environments like a restaurant. All sound including background noise is equally amplified.
