I got this with my 7rii and is excellent to have with you everyday while shooting. I enjoy the variety in the zoom and f/. It is lightweight and easy to carry around.

What’s not to love? I have not had a chance to compare it to the Zeiss/Sony lens of the same focal length but I am pleasantly surprised by this lens.

Great starter lens for Sony a7iii
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sony a7iii and it came with this lens. For a kit lens this really surpirsed me. Once you get to know how to work the Sony a7iii camera, you can take some pretty nice and sharp pictures. I even did a decent Macro picture with this lens and edited in Lightroom. I would recommend this as your first lens before you spend hundreds or thousands on a PRO lens.
