Unreliable Motors

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About to be on my third one of these so I suggest getting the protection plan for as long as possible. I think my first one lasted a little over 2 years because my protection plan expired but the second one not nearly as long. I purchased it in April and now as of December the motor to focus it is dead on the new one too. Worst part is you can't even manual focus either since it's focus by wire, once the motor dies you have a $2300 paper weight. Other than that it's a great lens lol.
