This is a great beginner camcorder. The camcorder itself is quite compact. I was expecting something larger and was pleasantly pleased. ergonomically its also easy to use and lightweight so fatigue isn't an issue. When it comes to using i found the battery life to be really good and didnt worry at all when using it that it would die on me. ANother thing i like is being alboe to connect my external mic. The sound thats recorded via the camcorder without a mic is pretty good but i found with a lav mic that really ups the quality. When filming i found this to do a really good job in daylight. Great details, nice nad sharp picture. It also does ok in low light situations. i have seen worse. You can also take pictures with this camera that are perfectly acceptable. I like that you can do this. it makes it an all in one device. When it comes to unboxing its a basic experience with just the necessities and that's about it. The imaging app you can use on your phone makes it so simple to take your media from your device. Its quick, easy, and simple. Overall this is a great camcorder that offers lots of features and a crisp 4K video. Photos are also pretty good. Highly recommened if you are in the market for a 4k camcorder

I like the camera but it is not the one that I wanted. The one I wanted was the step up AX53 but the pricing went up out if my price range the week before I was able to buy it so I settled for this camera. Sons wedding was coming up and had to have something. Good quality video.
