Surprisingly Useful

Highly suggested for a PS5 Pro so you can have a complete system. Does feel a little overpriced for what it is but better this than having a unit that dies because someone shoves coins in the disc slot.

You actually save money by buying preowned disc games. If you’re the type of gamer that buys digital games. If you don’t like it you get the full refund from the preowned purchase.

Protect your right of legit game ownership

No complaints on this disc drive otherwise. It snaps right on, installs and registers online.

So I received it about a week before. Since then the world has gone crazy for these. Not sure what more to add other than yes it loads my games and yes it seems to work fine on the Pro. Hopefully they restock soon.

Got this to pair with PS5 pro, a little upset that I was forced to buy one to play my physical media. But that is just a personal option about having to buy accessories. The drive itself is really good.

It is worth it for the physical collection since those are usually getting bigger sales than digital. Should have been part of the Pro, but at least it is an option!
