Phenomenal controller. After several years I’m finally swapping out the stick modules and we are back to good as new. For serious gaming and longevity this is the way to go.

Dualsense Edge Controller does cost a bit more for the "elite" or "premium" controllers available. However, it excels in providing the best haptic and most complete feature-set on the PS5 Console. With the addition of the PC app that allows useful configurations and customisation of button layouts to make the controller a very nice addition to the PC arsenal.

Good controller overall. Same complaints everyone else has. Poor battery life and should have 4 back buttons instead of 2. I do wish that they added more grip as well. I also own the Xbox elite 2 controller and that controller is way better than this Edge controller in every way. 4 back buttons, magnetic thumb sticks instead of snap on and off, 5 times the battery life over the Edge, and a lot more grippy.

In my opinion the controller is an amazing edition. The feel, the grip and the responsiveness all feels great. I primarily play destiny 2 and have put quite a few hours in using this controller and it has definitely enhanced my game play. I have used other 3rd party devices like scuf and despite there only being 2 paddles on the dual sense edge it didn't really feel like i was at a disadvantage while playing . I guess the only con would be the $199 price tag but the fact that I can change out the stick module if stick drift ever occurs for $20 is something i value amd was one of my determining factors in purchasing this device

This is a mixed review not because of the controller but the purchase was a raw deal the controller A+ if you own a Pa5 you must own all the crying about battery get 2 or plug it in problem fixed my issue was i bought as open box but this baby was clearly used had 3 profiles on it what i believe happened is someone owned this controller messed it up bought a new one from best buy then took this one back cause of the touch pad issue i found i didn't return because I'm pretty GREAT! at fixing things and i don't believe Best buy knew also the fix was very easy blower and 91% alcohol did the trick now is flawless only issue was paying for open box but getting used instead honestly just didn't wanna deal with it i had 1 hated the battery so i got this one now no issues first party always the best party all i use now

Excellent controller, I love the back pads, as they make pressing the left and right bumper extra easy. And the charger locks into the controller and into the case.

This controller is great if you like fps shooters. But any other genre I can't really advocate for the controller at this price point. I've had mine for a solid 4 months and the rubber on the under side has already started to yellow. I clean my controllers and console once a month and yet it's there. While it does have the remappable buttons, the paddles they give you I feel are too big, I kept accidentally hitting inputs when unwanted. Thankfully they do give you a set of fins too that seem to work better. Finally the battery life is very poor, unplugged you'd get 2-3 hrs depending on you trigger and light dimming settings, so I would recommend just doing it wired for the best experience.

I am a gamer and play at least 25 hours a week. So heavy use of this controller. It is excellent. Much more sturdier in mechanics and feel of comfort during long gaming sessions. The added paddles and convinces and better game play. The replaceable sticks add assurance the controller will function at peak performance by having replacements readily available should the need arise without having to purchase a new device. Very satisfied!

Rubber Grips Separating From Controller

The controller itself is great, I got tired of stick drift on the regular DualSense an opted to buy the Edge and the options to reconfigure your button layout and add the back paddles is very useful for my style of play but I really came here to speak on the durability of the rubber grips, I purchased this controller on June 16th 2023 and on January 26 2024 I felt a bump while moving my pinky finger while holding the controller, when I looked at it I noticed a lip on at the edge of the grip on one side and a few bumps on both sides as if there was air underneath the rubber, I researched and it seems to be a common issue so I’m not alone, for the price of this controller this should’ve never happened.

Good controller, wasn’t a big fan of the plastic glossy finish at its front but besides that the goods are
It has a heft to it that makes it feel premium compared to the standard controller the 2 back buttons are good (it doesn’t have 4 like the Xbox pro controller) but it gets the job done. I like it
