I would give it 5 stars, however it does get a little laggy at times due to it streaming from PS5. I LOVE it and it works well for me, however if you are unable to hardwire your PS5 it may not be as fast as you want. I play red dead on it all night after my wife holds the living room TV hostage.

I love the PSPortal. It makes gaming on the go easy. Not only is the controller hand-held comfortable and secure but the graphics and screen quality is out of this world. The latency is beautiful and remote gaming has little to no lag. Also the cloud gaming beta feature is a step in the right direction. Great game list. All in all this was a rightful purchase.

This has been a great purchase, all the updates being done has made this so much better!

This device gives me a way to play my PS5 games away from home. AmThe Dualshock vibration, large screen, and stereo speakers keep me fully immersed, I love this thing.

I love this device. I've had it since launch and it does exactly what I hoped it would plus more. I had my PS5 setup in my living room collecting dust and now I'm able to get some game time in without interrupting my kids. This device is heavily dependent on having a solid network infrastructure. If your PS5 is unable to be connected via ethernet, I would avoid buying this product. If you are using the router that your ISP provided you, I would avoid buying this product. Your internet speed has nothing to do with how well this will perform in your home. My setup: ISP - Verizon Speed - 1Gig Router - eero Pro 6E PS5 - Connected via Ethernet PS Portal - Connected to Wi-Fi on 5Ghz

This is absolutely excellent! Sooooo convenient! When I am working remote, I can just pick it hotspot and I am off to play.

The only limitations which kept it from getting a 5 were: 1. It can only mirror one profile, the main one. I think forethought into that would have made the device a true Switch contender in a number of ways. 2. Wi-fi limitations. I understand needing high bandwidth but, unless you turn off the remote play option on the PS5, you can’t add additional WiFi options such as Hotspot. If you are elsewhere, it won’t even login to give you a chance to choose a separate WiFi or use the Hotspot. That will be a real problem for me when I want to use it when I travel overseas in August 2024.

I played over a 100 hrs last year, Marvel Rivals, Monster Hunter, Fortnite and Lies of P. It does the job, not perfect and connectivity issues at time. Its fine, would probably go for a SteamDeck next time.

One of the best consoles out there! Definitely recommend it for those that don’t spend a lot of time at home

Yes it a ps5 accessory works great at home i bought it because i want it to use outside home while at work and its great i feel no lag i used my phones Hotspot so far so good the connection feels strong i was playing fifa fortnite and last of us i had no issues at all im impressed

I love my Playstation Portal. My main tv which I play my PS5 on and XSX was being used for Christmas movies. My Portal came in clutch. I played Gran Tourismo and Spider Man 2 flawlessly. I took my Portal to my detached garage to get away from my other half and it worked smoothly. If youre married this thing is a game changer. I even took it to the hospital while waiting for my grandson to arrive and it worked perfectly while using the hospitals wifi. Well worth the price. It plays and feels awesome. If i had to ding it..it would be the battery life. I want to say it lasted almost 2 hours. But, I'm just nit picking at this point.

I have so many good things to say about the Portal. I genuinely love it. For a handheld the graphics are fantastic. Most importantly, you can get your game on literally anywhere with wifi, which is basically everywhere these days. It feels great in your hand, the sound quality isn't perfect but you would be ridiculous to think it should be in a handheld. Easily worth the price, as a matter of fact you are getting a great value deal for $200. Buy it, seriously. You are doing a disservice to your gaming self and DEMOCRACY if you don't!!!

I give this a 3 star because I bought it for my family friend and sent it to Africa he can’t stream cloud in Ghana I hope PlayStation can be contacted and informed I would only recommend when your country is allowed to use could streaming

Just got the PS5 Portal for my son!!! He’s been wanting it for a while—and wow, it’s worth it! The remote play is super smooth, and now he can enjoy his favorite PS5 games anywhere around the house. Total game-changer (literally).

Works great no problems with it since I have had it wish it connected to hotspots a little better but overall I’ve had a blast with it and have used it a lot works well with ps5 pro as well

Awesome unit love the fact that when I’m away from home it comes in very handy as long as I have a strong internet connection but now with the new streaming capabilities even if I can’t connect to my PS5 I can still game on the go

Wish the battery life was a little better but overall I am not disappointed.
