Love having my ps games portable. The screen is the right size compared to my iPhone previously. I think the WiFi issues are not great. The portal uses ps remote same WiFi as your home network which competes with others using the same WiFi. My internet is gigabit but my slow Google wifi creates network contention. It has pretty poor WiFi reception on top of that.
When no one’s streaming it works great.

This was purchased for my granddaughter for deep cleaning my house. She LOVES it. She can take it everywhere and connect with her games and it has a nice sized screen for viewing. She also purchased a case and glass cover for it to protect the screen like you do for any device. It works great and was a wise choice for her!!

Disclaimer I have 500 Mbps fiber and my PS5 is connected to my router via ethernet. Which is probably overkill for this device but it absolutely performs better than any other remote play I’ve used like on my phone or on my iPad. I’ve had it for 2 to 3 months now and the connection has always been smooth. It’s also really comfortable to hold. One thing to note it doesn’t support HDR so make sure your PS5 isn’t turning it on by default. It’ll make your games look bad.

My 1st time using the PlayStation Porter and overall it was a good experience. The games I play have maps to open and mounts to call, and the learning curve to find those options was challenging,

I love it — definitely worth it for travel or gaming on the go. Even if you don’t own a PS5, you can still use it by getting PlayStation Plus. It’s honestly a must-have.

The color of the portal is fire and the game is really cool to use when you don’t feel like playing the full console. It’s easy and you can take it anywhere

This cater to a very specific audience. If you’re out of the house and around WiFi this is a great thing to own. Wish it was Bluetooth, wish the input lag was a little better and wish you could install apps. I reach for this when I’m not at home and I need to grind a couple of weekly challenges before the week is out. Hopefully one day an update makes this a standalone device

This was this was gift for my kid. He really loved it. It is awesome and he really enjoyed it and now Sonny just released an update that allows you when you are Sony PlayStation plus member you can play your game that you purchased online for free no need to have even PS5, which is great.

The connectivity isn’t always great. Has potential if they can improve the connectivity and reduce lagging when connecting directly to the console. Works well with the streaming beta with little lagging even on mobile hotspot. However, the selection of games you can stream is very limited. Also when streaming games don’t always save.

The size and simplicity of the device is great. For the price and the new streaming update, makes it stand alone and perfect for on the move gaming! No real lag or delay especially if your ps5 is connected via ethernet cord.

The PS portal is a necessary accessory for the PlayStation ecosystem. It’s really good for when you don’t want to have your TV on, but you want to play your titles. I love the high-definition screen and the features it provides. For example, it has the same rumble feature and most of the features of the PlayStation game controller. If you’d like the convenience of playing your games remotely as long as you have a robust Wi-Fi, I highly recommend this device as a great addition to your PlayStation 5.

High end quality, you can play anywhere and very convenient. Graphics are amazing! One thing I would suggest would be amazing if you can play it without having to leave your ps5 running all day.

I love my Xmas gift to myself. To think that I no
Longer have to sit in front of a tv to play my games and strain my neck in the process. Best decidion I ever made. I take it everywhere with me.

It's actually a fairly solid device that has surprised me. It can still be better. For the price and the functionality, it is pretty impressive. What really surprised me was that I was at my friends house 50 miles away in the next county. He has very good internet and solid wifi connectivity at his house. I was trying to show him the thing by connecting to his PS5. And that did not work well at all, in fact it got stuck and I had trouble getting out of an error screen. Then when I finally was able to get back to the home screen, it did something I wasn't expecting.
After about 30 seconds. It told me that it had connected to my PS5 back home. A bit surprised I connected and proceeded to play a Contra demo, which requires some decent quickness to play the game well enough to beat it. And then I showed my friend the FF7 Rebirth demo, set the game to performance mode because there's no point playing a 30fps mode when the resolution is set to 1080p. And it ran at a slightly stuttered 60fps mode. Some odd artifacts from time to time, but overall. I was playing a very nice high production game at a very smooth framerate. My friend immediately took notice and became interested in the device.
Obviously it boils down to you being somewhere with a good wifi connection and also having a good overall inter et connection. But for $200, you can play some really nice games that run good enough to actually play them.
The only thing I am still disappointed is the battery life. Bit eventually you will go somewhere where there's a wall plug

Let’s me play where ever I want. Easy to set up and play. Had a few issues connecting but I understand it’s more with my network than the unit. Completely happy with it.
