Great for travels, or for play in bed.
You need to have the console apart; it is a plus to have the remote console.

It is very high quality and cheap for what it has. you can play it from around the world and on the road. if it is laggy it means you need a stronger connection. So overall i would recommend buying this product.

After spending real time with the PlayStation Portal, I can confidently say this device fills a very specific niche — and if you fall into it, it’s fantastic. If you don’t, it might feel limited.

pretty sick device. lets me have my tv in use while gaming. nice for taking on the go- make sure the PS5 is in rest mode- i’ve also connected it to the wifi router per other reviews and honestly i don’t have an issue with it at all when it comes to loading. depending where you are with that wifi source- it could cause a bit of a lag- but just like in your home with wifi, there are hot and cold spots when it comes to connection. i guess my only thing is the charge in this thing, but now a days things don’t hold a charge like things back in the day. basically an upgraded psp without the psp:( (still crossing my fingers for a completely portable device like the psp) but until then, this will work!

When using remote play, single player games work fantastic. No input lag or delays even when playing games several hundred miles from my ps5 as long as you have a fairly decent internet connection. There is input lag when playing online games, but that is to be expected. Cloud streaming is a great deal, especially since you don’t actually need a ps5 for that!

This might be the peak example of a frivolous accessory and I’d say it’s not worth trying one of these without a really strong internet connection to your PS5 (truly, either wire it with an Ethernet cord or have a router right next to it). The lack of a dedicated touchpad also takes a little getting used to (you just tap the screen to pull up one.) That all said, the screen is like stunning sometimes how good it looks. I also think the DualShock 5 is maybe the best controller in gaming so even though the actual design of this is wacky it feels great to play.

The controller feels great and the screen is big - much bigger than the Nintendo Switch. The build/design is definitely solid, sleek, and matches well with the console. My only gripes is that it depends on a PS5 in order to work courtesy of the limitations of the RemotePlay feature so it's not exactly portable outside of the Wi-Fi network your PS5 is currently situated in. You can't stream or watch any videos from any streaming apps either due to the same reason. And gameplay may lag depending on your network which is why you should connect your PS5 directly to your router via an ethernet cable. If you can get over those limitations, then the device is great! It frees up the TV so someone else can use it while you can play on the device anywhere else in the house.
