Obviously, this needs more features to compete with the expansive handheld gaming market. However, I absolutely adore this product for bed gaming and reading fine texts on the PS5. Its not as laggy as remote gameplay and its very simple to use and set up. For my niche needs, this is an absolute game changer!

My children love it as we bought two. As listed and does as it says. Buy a screen protector and case. Worth the investment

Bought this so I could play my ps5 while at my parent's house. But now I use it at home, too. It works great! I was even able to play online games such as FF14 and Destiny 2, though there was a bit of input lag.

Absolutely love the portal it works perfect with my ps5 pro. Just make sure there's a great wifi connection and you can play anywhere! (Also if you don't have a PS5 to remote play, you can use your PlayStation plus premium account and stream games over the cloud.) My experience buying through best buy is easy and the workers are knowledgeable, easy find easy check-out.

This device is great. If your looking to play your playstation 5 games on the go this is the way to go. It works very well on a mobile hotspot running at the 5ghz speed. Paired with the pluse explore ear buds and you can game anywhere youd like as long as you have a connection.

I wanted the PS Portal when it initially released. With all the complaints and downfalls prior to the new update I was kind of glad I didn’t buy initially. Now that I can connect to Hotel and other public type networks and stream games I don’t own with cloud gaming (Requires PS Plus Premium) I’m overly satisfied with this device….only thing I wish worked was other media players like Netflix, YouTube that I have on my on PS5. Definitely something to own if you love gaming on the go!!!

I am really enjoying the remote player. The resolution is really nice, and the games are playing really well.

I bought this device for my significant other and he loves it! It connects seamlessly with our home console for on the go use and has good audio quality. The traditional controller buttons make this device familiar and easy to use. The device does feel fragile when not in use. so we did find a great carrying case and screen protector for some added protection. Great buy!

I usually do not do reviews, but I absolutely love this device and the Midnight Black color! It is a great way to play your PS5 games in handheld mode and catch up on that nagging backlog. My PS5 console had been collecting dust recently due to my busy life schedule but since buying the portal I have not picked up my Switch 2 in days. I also love the cost of the device as well given how expensive gaming has become as of late.

Fun handheld system that my daughter loves to play sims.

Love this is was a awesome buy for my son now on long road trips or being out of town he still play his favorite games even away from home.

This is the perfect dad gamer accessory. As a dad myself, the kids take all the TV time and its pretty rare for me to play games on TV. I usually have to play really early or really late when they are sleeping. The PS portal lets me game on the couch, toilet, or anywhere else in the house. Connect it to your phone’s hotspot to play elsewhere. The biggest downfall of this is that you can’t just connect any bluetooth headphones to it. You have to use Sony’s. Luckily I already have one. Its 2025, no one uses wired headphones anymore

But if you’ve done your research you can come to understand the value it has and from its overall functionality. Unfortunately, this device is not for everyone. As for me i love it, and appreciate it, and have value in owning one. While i love traditional gaming on a console, I also love gaming on handhelds . This device gives me the best of both worlds. Ive had fun playing Ghost of Tsushima, Kingdom Hearts FM, God of War 3; from in bed at night, my kitchen, and boldly enough from my bathroom. Its network dependant, and ive had a few issues due to their being excessive rain in my area but nothing that impedes me from playing and enjoying my games. The lag from my experience has been minimal and while i wont say its been near perfect. My experience has been highly positive. This has been a great investment for me. I’d encourage others to give it a chance. Just by doing your research and understanding it, you know if its truely for you or not.
