The device works great and has a decent time streaming games and works without a ps5 console however a 160 subscription per year on top oh needing wifi all the time is annoying for $360 id rather spend $400 on a steam deck

This is my second one and Iv enjoyed it. I struggle often when accessing the remote play outside of home. It is still functional in other way.

I love the build quality, it works great when I'm using it on my network, playing a game on my bed is nice. But when I use it somewhere else, the quality is garbage. Now I know it's not my upload as I have fios and upload speed is really high. Another negative is not being able to login on wifi networks that use a login page, so no public wifi networks. Also you can not use it to watch YouTube or dvds, not a huge deal but it is another limit.

I purchased my portal during the beta phase. I am now able to play game ln the cloud, but I wold have to donnect my portal to my console for other game use. Its best to purchase the premium playstation monthly fee in order to stream games from the cloud.once you pair your console to the portal, you cam play you games on the portal as you have great internet connection. I would give it 5 stars, however it does get a little laggy at times due to it streaming from PS5. I LOVE it and it works well for me, however if you are unable to hardwire your PS5 it may not be as fast as you want. I play red dead on it all night after my wife holds the living room TV hostage.

Pretty cool device very comfortable. The screen is high quality the only thing is it’s just a remote player essentially which you can do on other devices you already have.

Overall, the Portal is great. It takes some tweaking of your PS5 for optimum running, which isn't ideal if you are traveling when you discover the connection is unstable. The cloud gaming access makes this a solid handheld option for PS5 gamers. The open box unit was definitely worth purchasing.

Great for what i wanted. Great accessory for PS5 owners if you dont always have time to sit down infront of the tv or just want a change of scenery. Wish is was about 50 bucks cheaper though

I love it. I prefer playing the cloud streaming games from the PSPlus library than connecting to my system, but all in all this is a solid handheld.

Quality product. Would recommend decent internet connection throughout home, or whenever you are located. Games run smooth, but of course become pixelated due to connection. Great design and product. *Only purchase if you are a PlayStation 5 owner*
