Best thing portable gaming device I’ve ever played on

Exactly what I’m looking for easy to connect and came really fast

The PlayStation Portal introduces a brand new way to play your PlayStation 5 games whenever you may be sharing your TV with others in your household. The Portal comes with a pretty decent sized screen which allows you to get a better view of all of your favorite games. My favorite part about it is that it carries over all of the dual sense features that you would normally have in the dualsense controller. I would highly recommend this if your console is hooked up via an ethernet and/or your house provides excellent bandwidth if running via Wi-Fi. The portal does not contain any internals that boost the performance so for anyone thinking about buying this product I would say test PS remote play on your mobile device first.

This was the best gift i could have gave my man. He absolutely loves it & it doesn’t lag.

Awesome fun affordable system to pair with the PS5

My kids love it. They not only can be in home playing but also bring it to his cousins house and connect it to their wifi and be able to play.

This product is a great ADDITION to the PS5. Item is not Bluetooth capable, can only use PS product (headset) with device. Someone else cannot play your Ps5 while this device is in use.

Total upgrade to the PS Vita and if you own a Back Bone controller. The screen is bigger than I thought it was and makes me feel like I have the PS5 in my hand. The graphics are great and the sound quality is 100%. The only downside is having a stable wifi connection. I have a wireless router, and it works wonderfully, but there are moments where it will act up and cut me off in gameplay (but thanks to the game recognizing my absence, it will pause the game due to no connection to a controller). Overall, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade their PlayStation experience.

This is a great purchase if you wanna game when away from home. Even if I dont have a wifi connection it works great using my phone as a hotspot and I am able to play when no issues. I love the all black finish as well. Its a pegect handheld size and screen brightness and battery life is really good for the price.

This was a great impulse buy. I had been debating on getting one for a while and I'm glad I finally did. Some games were just MADE for the Portal (Dave the Diver, Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, etc.) This is especially great for those of us who don't have central air conditioning and have to be in the coolest room. The screen is bright and the colors are great and it is super comfortable to hold for those longer gaming sessions. It has some good weight to it, doesn't feel cheaply made or anything. If you are on the fence about the portal, just get it! You won't regret it!

Great product for someone who loved PS5. Would buy again

I actually love this product. Now i know that its gotten a lot of heat for not being a stand alone device but being that i can play my game from anywhere as long as the wifi is great ill take it. I can say that the portal feels like im playing with one of my ps5 dual sense controllers wirh adaptive triggers and a super led screen in the middle. Honestly its like having a ps5 in the palm of your hand. Just remembered that if the wifi connection isnt strong then you might become frustrated with the lag or the reoccurrence of reconnecting.

I think this is a pretty good device. Obviously, it’s not as free as a regular handheld device. But, if you want a handheld PC, then buy a handheld PC! What this device is meant for, it does really easy and conveniently. It’s a remote play device! Yes, you can use your phone, tablet, computer, Steam Deck, etc. They all work well enough. You can even connect a Dual Sense to those devices. This device just makes it easier and has everything you need built in. Biggest con is you need a decent wifi connection for the smoothest experience.

Great device for playing your system while on the road. Only thing to remember is that the power must be on to your system at home. If it isn’t, it is a beautiful paperweight. Feel and screen clarity are amazing

Excellent gaming portal especially if you’re on the run!

It’s perfect for my needs. I just wish it was an independent portable system. It is a great way to remote play using your ps 5.

Nice but left me wanting more. Features that would make it perfect: Bluetooth, if it had its own games (I would pay extra for this feature), the ablitiy to watch movies/youtube, maybe standalone apps can be added in the future.

Product was refurbished, works great and looks brand new, will consider buying refurbished from BestBuy again in the future.

I'll put it like this.... Yes you can play your PS5 in front of your TV no problem, but if you are feeling adventurous and want to game in the bed, in the backyard, on the front porch, at your hotel room with Wi-Fi hotspot, at your friends or family's house when you're on vacation or visiting, at work on break or lunch, and want that good PS5 playing experience... You better pick one of these up and thank me later. Do your research on the optimal settings on your PS5 console for playing on the portal for the ultimate experience because that weighs in as well.
