Great handheld system just connect to WiFi and play along

Love this thing been using for a while. Very helpful to pick up and play a game in between being a full time adult

Best item ever i use at work just makesure you own a ps5 console.

This portable device has alot of great features and new updates. I enjoy playing with this to kill time.

THe recent update made this the killer device! I bring it everywhere and play with my mobile phone shared hotspot connection.

It’s good at what it does. It allows you to play games on your PS5 when you’re not sitting in front of the TV next to your PS5. (Yes you NEED a PS5 also to use this). My biggest gripe, it does NOT support Bluetooth headphones. Hope you have an old RCA headphone or the new proprietary headphone / earbuds from Sony. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any meaningful lag, but I have been playing this in my house, so, make what you will of that. Oh, and I was unable to edit how the touch screen works, I have to tap it twice for it to operate the Touch Bar on the PS5 controller. I would have loved to change it to one touch, maybe I’m missing something. Final thoughts, if you’re a tech junky like me, I recommend getting it, otherwise, don’t. Wait for something that can play games natively and also support PS Remote, like the PS Vita that had its own games and it also let me remotely connect to the PS4 to play games when I was away from home.

I've always enjoyed playing it at home, but the cloud update made it fantastic. I now take it everywhere with Wi-Fi. The image quality and gameplay are excellent. It's worth every penny, I highly recommend it. My only complaint is the limited Bluetooth headset compatibility.

The portal has excellent ergonomics and haptics with the spotty nature of fluctuating wireless signals. For a device that costs 150-200 dollars less than an entire PS5, it really should be a 1080p HDR oled panel that is able to run PS5 games natively, but instead what we are getting is a decent remote streaming device that requires ownership(and power-on) from a network-connected PS5. Your mileage may vary, but in my 5 or so hours with the device, i had no disconnects, although i most certainly experienced audio crackle, streaming artifacts(at 60fps) and severe input lag in the 100’s of milliseconds. Remote play and cloud gaming simply isnt ready for prime time, but overall this device does what it has set out to do, and thats provide remote playability of PS5 games when a direct tv connection isn’t immediately available.

I leave my PS5 hooked up to my livingroom TV and occasionally move it to my bedroom. I bought the Portal with mild expectations as I knew the latency might be an issue. Tbh, when playing Spiderman 2, i cant really tell there is a delay but when playing Call of Duty I notice it. My PS5 is hardwied and I am using a Ubiquity UniFi UAP-AC-PRO.

Sucks cuz you need WiFi but if you got it then definitely well worth the buy I LOVE THINS THING AND WAS IN ARUBA AND CONNECTED TO MY PS5 fine

The first one had a problem connecting to my ps5 but the second connected quickly and effortlessly it’s a fun mobile system that’s great when you want to play on the go or just some thing to play quickly

Great condition. No lag noticed when using good wifi.

The portal worked even better than I expected. I've use other devices for remote play Steam Deck and Phone so I wasnt expecting and amazing performance, but man this thing works very well. Let me also specify I have very good internet with a mesh wifi system and I have my PS5 hardwired but I am very happy with my experience. Even streamed games are pretty good.

This thing has been great, gameplay feels great. Colors are bright and movement perfectly smooth, great for taking games out if the living room!

The best purchase I made we drove for Mo to New York and didn't need the ps5 console and Yes it connected over 1000 miles.

Far exceeding expectations. Screen is gorgeous, controllers are comfortable. And freedom to play without any significant lag delay is really impressive.
