Affordable, Noise-Canceling and good quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is well-balanced, with clear mids and decent bass. While they won’t rival high-end models, they outperform most wired headphones in their price range. Comfort is another strong point — the lightweight design and adjustable headband make them easy to wear for extended periods.

Some pro's - Some cons. Not bad for price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros. Good sound. Good bass. Good price. Thick padding. Cons. Distort at high volume. Ear pads do not fit over the ear. The noise cancellation is non-existent, only turns the volume up when noise canceling is turned on.

This Headphones are pretty impressive for the $$
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these headphone to replace the noise cancelling headphones that gave up the ghost. They do a good job at canceling the outside noise but they go through batteries rather quickly, especially if you forget to turn the switch off. Lol!

Quality sound 1/4 the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony headphones I bought, even though I purchased them while traveling in an airport . So I've since seen the same set for a lower price. They are a known name (Sony) which I've always known to make quality products. When I tried them for the first time I was quite impressed with the outside noise cacelation setting. They deliver a crisp low, mid, and high all around sound for various uses of listening. The past few year head phones in my opinion gotten to be very trendy , especially the type that cover your whole ear as opposed to the ear buds. For music recording, which I do quite a bit of this is something of an investment. Still there are some very prominent recording headphones that are affordable . The "Beats" which seem to be the go to ,cost $300 for the same type as the Sony ones I purchased for under $50. The name recognition and popularity have been enough for people to pay that. The only other I've seen in that same Beats price range and in comparison far and above out perform the Beats. Bose, which I'm amazed how they make so much sound from the small size of devices the make. There Bluetooth speakers which fit in one hand , have the sound of a whole receiver and speaker set up. They even sound better. Beats also has a Bluetooth device which they put in the same price range. I've tried them both side by side and the Bose out performed the Beats twice over. There's just no comparison . So when buying your kids those beats headphones cause they are so trendy that to be realistic and get the $50 sonys . It's the same sound quality. If you insist on having the best and spending $2-300 then go with Bose products. The other I forgot to mention being far and above in sound performance is the Marshall head phones. To me they sound like a Marshall product should but $300 for headphones , I still believe your paying for the name. Marshall , like the amplifiers have a long rich history of being the standard go to by many professional for many years. I'd save the $300 towards an amp and be just fine knowing I only spent $50 on high quality headphones.

Great for long flights!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a recent trip I took to Uganda. It was going to be a long flight and I wanted something that was noise cancelling, inexpensive, and could plug into a planes entertainment system. It worked so well I was able to forget I was on a plane and get lost in the movies I watched on the flight. If you want something that won't brake the bank and you won't be mad for either losing or breaking. This fits every one of those boxes.

Disappointing Performance from Quality Brand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Sony noise-cancelling headphones are a classic case of "you get what you pay for..." The Good: 1. Can listen to audio when the noise cancelling feature is turned off 2. While the noise cancelling isn't as good as some high-dollar headphones, it is pretty effective. 3. Sound quality is good (when the noise cancelling is turned on) The Not Good 1. The Best Buy website calls these "over-the-ear" headphones. Unless your ears are the size of quarters, these are more like "on-the-ear" headphones 2. Sound quality is noticeably muffled when noise cancelling is turned off 3. Cord is less then 3-feet long 4. Batteries only last around 10 hours. While that isn't horrible, it isn't great either. 5. No microphone or remote for answering calls

Great for your first.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find this pair of headphones comfortable, easy to change the batteries, good quality of sound and lightweight. I use them for my Zoom and Microsoft Team meetings plus listen to music and it is consistent in sound. The first time using I had to search for the on/off button, which is good thing because it lies smooth against headphone and is not projected out.

For the price very impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had Klipsch and bose headphones before. Loved them but hated how heavy and bulky they were. Or that they only worked with battery. These are great for the price. Works with or without battery. Fold up to a great size. And decent quality. Well worth it. I've bought all the kids a pair.

Plug in earphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These plug-in earphones deliver clear sound and reliable performance. The wired connection ensures zero latency, making them great for calls, music, and videos. Comfortable fit and simple controls add to their appeal. Though less convenient than wireless options, they’re dependable and affordable for everyday use. Solid value for the price.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We started a podcast and decided to purchase a few different headphones all different brands. I have 2 Sony (this being one of them), and 2 other more expensive brands. The first Sony white headphones were a $15 set which was just ok, didn't get the sound I wanted, but these black Sony headphones are my favorite, even with the other 2 brands being way more pricey. I got these on sale too so that was amazing. It does it's job with the noise canceling and I click the switch on, and it's even better. I love it. So comfy, very affordable, and sleek. I will continue to use these for our show. $40 ($50 reg. price) for using in the studio??? Can't go wrong!!

Great headphones for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using these headphones for about three weeks. I bought them because my Chromebook does not have speakers and now that I am working from home, I needed something for conferencing and videos. These headphones do the job nicely. They grip your head tightly so that they do not slip off with movement. I would not say that these are noise-canceling, but they definitely are noise reducing. They effectively diminish the noise from roofers and housebuilders just outside my window so that I can hear videos and discussion at meetings. The length of the wire is perfect -- long enough so you can move, but not too long that it interferes. If you are looking for an inexpensive pair of headphones that block noise, then these are a good option.

Perfect for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones can't be beat for the price. They did a good job of cancelling out some of the background noise on really loud non-commercial airplane trips. They don't go completely around the ear but they are comfortable enough to wear for several hours. They don't sound near as good as my Bose noise cancelling headphones, but these didn't cost anywhere near as much as those. These are a great budget friendly option.

Great Noise-blockers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones right before a series of flights and they've been life savers. On one recent last-minute trip I ended up seated directly next to the deafening engine. Put the 'phones and some music on ... no problem. On the flight back, I was ahead of to rows of noisy kids, and again: headphones on, could hardly hear a peep. Things I'd change: rechargeable, rather than AAA batteries, and the on/off switch built in, because it's too easy to forget to turn off the manual switch.

Great for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony headphones are a good value for a set of decent noise cancelling headphones. They are comfortable to wear for sustained periods of time. The noise cancelling tech. works well (tested in an airplane). They do require a single AAA battery and have an on/off switch for the noise cancelling (which I often forget to turn off at the end of my listening session). Good product at a good price

Great budget Headphones, Could save on batteries.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is very good and theyre comfortable. Not too sure how noise cancelling they are though. My only issue and down side to these headphones is that they need a AAA battery to get the punchy loud sound you crave. The batteries constantly die when you leave them on. Have had them for 2 years, VERY durable.
