So, when I went to the SanDiego Zoo Safari Park today, I had several batteries with me. Several hundred photos and videos later I was into the second battery about 1/4 of the way. I think it held up very well.
I would recommend this to a friendOriginal battery as a secondary power for my Cam.

Although the other brand sold at Best Buy is well known, this one has the same mAh as the one that came with the camera and higher than the similar from Lenmar ($10 cheaper than this one at the time I bought).

Wouldn't want to miss a photo opportunity because of a dead battery. This battery may be a little more expensive than the off brand, but it functions longer than the cheaper brands. For me, having the battery last longer is worth the extra money.

SONY Batteries are best.

The others are functional, PERHAPS it's a preference thiing, but in my many years of photography with SONY equipment I've never had ANY of theirs fail me yet. So until that changes, I'll keep doing what I do.

I have used it many times on vacation when the other battery has been used up. I carry it with my camera at all times. It's life is as long as the battery that came with my Sony camera.

I tried this as a last resort and my camera has been working perfect ever since. So thankful as Best Buy would not let me renew the geek squad late and I paid almost $500 for tha camera.

Good battery at a good price. Not a cheap copy

Definitely a true Sony battery and not a cheap counterfeit that a lot of place sell. I have no complaints and continue to use this battery often.

Best performance comes from Sony branded batteries

This battery is for the RX100. I've found Sony branded batteries just perform better in Sony products and recommend them.
