This was an official Sony one and having two makes life a lot easier. They last 3/4 of a day shooting photos and charge quite fast. One of the photos I took on our trip to Sydney.

good and last longer than I anticipated

It lasts significantly longer than the older Sony batteries, and I can usually get through several hours of video recording or an entire day of photography on a single charge. I picked this up as a spare for my FX-series camera, and it performs just as well as the original that came with the body. Charging is quick, and it holds its charge well even if it sits in my bag for a week or two. The only downside is the price — genuine Sony batteries aren’t cheap — but the reliability and peace of mind are worth it compared to third-party alternatives. Overall, it’s an essential backup if you do any kind of professional or extended shooting.

Recently, within the last couple of years, I’ve been into mirrorless Sony A series of cameras, the NP-FZ100 battery is an absolute excellent long lasting battery for my a6700.. They are not cheap, but their worth every penny.. For my shooting style of photography, I always keep a couple spares in my kit, and will add additional NP-FZ100’s a little later.. NO REGRETS HERE!!
