As an avid music listener and lover, most things music related are my thing. I own a older model of the Walkman MP3 from 2010 and that one is the BEST and it still works in 2015! These newer ones (currently in BB locations) do not boast the same SUPPERIORITY as the past ones, which is unfortunate. My sister enjoys this newer model but complains that it "freezes" sometimes and will stay stuck on certain settings at times. But, overall she likes it for the most part. It only carries about 300-320 songs which is why I recommend getting the one with the biggest GB storage. I wish Sony would bring back the older models because they work fabulously and had the ability to do simple things like playlists, these NWZ-E380 models do not. To sum it up this model is basic but WAY BETTER than any other MP3 players being offered by other makers. DO NOT BUY those really, really cheap MP3 players next to Sony's Walkman MP3 player they are GARBAGE. Sony is your BEST bet.

My old Sony player was perfect for my needs until I washed it. This new player is simple to use but I sure do miss the Bluetooth.

Purchased this as a gift for my husband to use when he walks every day. We really like the radio tuner option for those times when we don't want to listen to downloaded music. Great sound and very easy to use.

One of the easiest to use and easiest to load MP3 players I've ever owned

I've been searching for something to use at my desk at work with good sound, can't use my iPhone at work. It's small not noticeable and great sound and that's all I wanted. I love my MP3 PLAYER. . .

Great product. Easy to use and great sound quality. I've had it for a few months and it holds up well. The only thing I'm not too exited about is the video quality. I mean I know that's not why you buy an MP3 player. You don't say whys the video quality so bad on a toaster, but when you pay 60 dollars for it it makes you wonder a bit. It's a great player and the radio is a great option but they should have left the video part out of it .

This was purchased as a first MP3 player for an 8 year old. He loves it. It has a good quality sound, it's easy for him to add songs, easy to work, and it lasts for hours between charges.

Bought this for myself as a gift and I love everything about it. Nice interface and the features are a nice touch. Sound is crisp and clear and there is plenty of space to add 100's of songs and also some videos as well. I have yet to dislike anything about this device and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive mp3 player.

I am really enjoying and getting great use out of this at the gym. So much easier than worrying about downloads to my phone.

I bought this mp3 player for my sister. I had previously bought an RCA mp3 player for the same price, and it was horrible. I was able to return that one and buy this one, and I was very pleased. It has a sturdy design and it is relatively easy to use. The only thing I did not like is the face that there was no wall charger unit included. Luckily any USB charger will work.

I received the Sony - NWZ-E380 Walkman MP3 player for Christmas 2013, so I've only used it a short time. Loaded the software on my home computer and was able to download all my podcasts onto the player with relative ease. You can figure out the player operation by trial and error and punching around on the buttons with little effort. The FM Tuner works well for the size of the unit. I like the fact that all the buttons are flush with the face of the player so they will not get pressed so easily when carrying in my pockets. It also will be great if the 15 hour battery life holds true. I spent a little more than I wanted for an mp3 player when I bought this unit, but I am satisfied with everything so far. I believe Sony has a good reputation and I think they held true on this product according to the other reviews.

I have had ipods, tried some cheaper brands, none compare to the Sony Walkman. It's easy to manage, doesn't micromanage what songs you can put on, and no hidden files, unlike the iPod. And waaaay less $. So if it breaks, and I've had mine for 5 yrs now, I am not mad about the cost, or the time it takes to transfer music on it. No special download system required, just drag and drop MP3s.

Perfect mp3 for a child who needs to prove that they can take care of this type gift.

i bought this for my son for Christmas ive bought him others in the past and they were complicated to use and the sound and download capability were not so great this one however was exactly what I was looking for good sound easy downloading no complicated setups he absolutely loves it.

This is a good device for those who do not wish to spend $150+ on an iPod
