These headphones provide the most amazing sound quality of any pair of headphones that I have ever owned. They are good for the ears, improve my posture and are very comfortable. They are also smartphone ('stupid' phone) compatible and work wonderfully for that purpose. I actually took the attached photo using the built-in button that they have (which also stops and plays music when you have the Smart Key app installed). I love the experience and am completely satisfied!

We purchased this headphone for our son who has gone thru several headphones in recent years. This one is durable and seems to withstand the daily users of a teenager. Great product.

I purchased these headphones to spite my roommate who wanted me to get Grados. They are probably a little bit on the expensive side for some of the things you could get for just over $100, but they are by no means bad. The bass can be very powerful with the large drivers, which is both good and bad depending on what kind of music you're listening to. Things like rap and techno sound great and powerful, but some other genres are hurt at high volume levels. This is not the case at "reasonable" volume levels however, where the mids are surprisingly clear and everything is fairly crisp (while maintaining a powerful low end). These are ported, and I have played around with plugging the ports with pieces of foam (not included), but I usually leave it out. Plugging the bass ports tightens them up a lot and makes for excellent listening for all genres. I wouldn't buy them just to plug the bass ports though. The build quality is great, and my only complaint is a slight noise one of the swivels makes when turned. They are extremely comfortable despite a solid, somewhat heavy feel in the hand. I regularly sit with them on at work for 3-6 hours without problem. While wearing them the cable is silent when moved, and they have excellent isolation and virtually no bleed. The built-in remote buttons work perfectly with my android phone and you can customize the functions with an app from Sony. They are very good looking headphones and I would recommend them highly, especially over Beats, and Sol. If you want a perfectly flat sound these are not for you, but they can be perfect it you prefer a little to a lot of boost on the low end. If you have never had nicer headphones you should expect to be disappointed by the sound your laptop and even phone put out. There will a noticeable difference when listening to say, an mp3 on your laptop, as compared to a CD being played on an actual stereo. It's not the headphones at fault, they just help expose the faults in other things.

The sound from these is very authentic and not tinny. The bass is awesome. And they are nice and light. I hate heavy headsets. And these are comfy too

I looked at many different headphones before purchasing. I had to choose between Wired vs Wireless. I think I made a good choice going wired. I don't have to worry about replacing batteries or charging. PROS: Good Build Comfortable over the ear Good sound Mic is a plus CONS: Mic and button has limited support for Android devices (Only play and pause) Mic and cable will send feedback into earbuds during a call (only slightly noticeable)

I purchased these headphones and they sound great. listen with my ipod and on home stereo the bass is really great. all said think these are a great buy for the money and the comfort padding on ear is excellent. would recommend to anyone who wants a good all around headphone.

If you appreciate bass and good quality sound, these are for you! I am one that really appreciates music and the sound that comes out of my stereo, car, and headphones and I have to say these Extra Bass headphones pass the test. I did A LOT of research and spent a lot of time in different stores listening to all of the different brands of headphones. Not only did Sony create a product with good sound, but the headphones are also very comfortable. I've tried over the ear headphones before where I felt like my head was being pinched and that is not the case here!

I work in a very noisy environment and love to listen to music. I had been using ear buds before but they always pulled out of my ears whenever I would turn my head and the quality of sound was ok at best. Being a musician, poor sound quality is very frustrating. With these headphones, I can listen to music, move around easily and keep the loud noises of the workplace out. They are comfortable and stay in place and the sound is amazing! No need to spend hundreds of dollars, these headphones are just as good for a fraction of the price.

These headphones are great. The sound is awesome, they're comfortable, and I really like them. Were they worth the price, I don't think so. I think the price of all of the headsets are ridiculous. But if you absolutely want over the ear, I recommend these wholeheartedly. I've really enjoyed them and had the price been lower I would have given them 5 stars.

Lots of bass. Great sound. Very comfortable and sound canceling.

The headphones are extremely comfortable. I have glasses, so it's hard for me to find over the ear headphones that don't hurt, but these I have no problem with. But that's not all, the actual sound quality is very good, it plays very clear, can be very loud, and has a great bass. It is also sturdy, much more than its counter part, skull candy. Those things break within a month. These are much better, and I very highly recommend these.

I actually got these because my old on-eat headphones wore out and my,dad chewed through the cord and it was hanging on by just a wire, but ever since I got these they've become my new favorite headphones because they have a lot of bass to them and you don't have to turn the volume up really high to enjoy the sound, and even when you do you can feel the bass in them. They're really great headphones for the price.

These headphones might not be the best in class, however, the quality and sound of the headphones are, in my opinion, worth the money. They are comfortable and can be used to listen to music for hours with out the ears feeling hot nor to tight. Bluetooth range is relatively good, I can leave a device in a separate room and listen to the music in the kitchen or another room (my house is not too large).

These are great. I had been searching for a pair of headphones that were comfortable, durable, and had good sound quality. These fit the bill perfectly. They're very lightweight and I like the color and clean style. Although the headphones aren't collapsible, the ear cups do fold flat and have a lot of flexibility. Overall, I'm very satisfied and am able to wear them for hours comfortably.

I wanted something for listening to movies and music from my phone. There is no background noise and the sound is clear. I considered Beets but didn't want to spend the money. I also tested them with other products and like the sound and prise.

These headphones are great. They provide a range of sound from 3 hz to 28 KHz. I head deep bass and low tones, great mids and crisp highs. Vocals are superb. The better the music I put into them the better they sound, they can handle it all from low end .mp3's to FLAC files. Great purchase.
