I bought this psvr2 call of the wild bundle with digital voucher for Horizon: call of the wild game included as an open box excellent condition system back in july. As advertised it arrived to me in excellent condition, It wasn't in it original packaging but came in a nice white box. The psvr2 was in excellent condition for being an open box/used item, I have played my psvr2 constantly and have enjoyed it immensely. Psvr2 really makes you feel like you are in different worlds/environments, you feel immersed like your really there. I played Resident Evil: Village and this game scared me!!! It's like the monsters are in front of you and all around you, i had to stop playing after awhile cause it scared me. I will say if you buy psvr2 and are new to virtual reality, ease yourself into it, until your body gets use to it because you might become nauseous and light headed. I recommend starting off just playing 30 minutes of psvr2 and slowly increase your playing time until you feel comfortable enough playing psvr2 without becoming nauseous. The reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because before i purchase this, best buy ad had stated open box call of the wild bundle with digital voucher for the Horizon call of the wild game. I called Best Buy 1-(800) number to verify if the ad was legitimate and the representative said yes it was. I received my psvr2 bundle and there was no digital voucher for the game. I called Bestbuy explained what happened, Bestbuy then told me to call Sony to get the game. Long story short i didn't get my digital voucher code for the game. Be careful of buying any open box bundle consoles from Bestbuy advertising free digital voucher of game because the open box console will not have the voucher for game. Other than that issue, i love my psvr2, sorry for the long review

I fell madly in love with my VR headset. I spend hours playing Vegas Infinite. I just bought Hellsweeper, Resident Evil Village, Metro Awakening, Gran Turismo 7 and Arizona Sunshine 2 they are all so fun. PSVR2 plays perfectly on my PS5 PRO. MY advice...GET THE 2 YEAR WARRANTY. If you cant afford a warranty on top of the cost of a VR headset, then dont bother. Remember to only clean the lenses with micro fiber cloth, if you have poor vision you need to wear your glasses, so PLEASE invest in lense protectors or do what I did and get a pair of detachable prescription lenses from VR Rock to avoid you scratching the VR lenses. be gentle with the cable and treat it every part carefully to maximize its lifespan. Im so happy with this purchase, I only buy my electronics from Best Buy since I trust them so much when it comes to customer service. ENJOY P.s. also eat some dramamine or ginger 30 min before playing to avoid motion sickness for the beginning , you get your VR legs after some practice with them.

    Quest3 vs VR2...Which one?

I've been trying the 2 major VR/AR/MR systems, Meta Quest3 and Playstation VR2, on my PS5 to decide if it's time to jump into the new technology. Quest3 is an untethered system allowing free movement, while VR2 is tethered. With VR2 there are 2 issues; 1) you're movement is limited by the tether, and 2) there's a definite possibility you could get tripped-up by it also. As to usability...Both are "acceptable", but I preferred the Quest3's optics over VR2. IMO, I'd like to see better optics, and I think someday, they'll get this worked out. For controllers, I prefer the VR2 (Q2 are similar) over the Q3; they just felt "better" to me. Also, the VR2 eye-tracking is great! Mixed-reality, Q3 has VR2 beat, with full-color MR, while VR2 is B&W (yuch!). Overall, if you want to dig into VR now, I'd say you need to consider that tether, and for that alone I prefer Q2 over VR2. Also, because Q3 can work with your 'puter, while VR2 cannot; although YMMV. The headset on the VR2 is MUCH more comfortable IMO, and the controllers feel "better" (to me). Setup is easier on the VR2, and things just "feel" more positive (i.e. picking something up). So which one to choose???...There's no good answer, it's up to you to decide. The best way to do so is to try each out, in your own environment, and make your decision. Both are good quality units, both have pros & cons...BUT...There is that addn'l $500+ that you'll have to spend for the PS5 game console IF you decide to go the VR2 route (if you don't have a PS5 already). If I didn't have a PS5 already, my personal choice would be Q3 if only because it's not tethered and does not require a game console. For ease of use, they both have their "quirks". BTW, watching movies on both is NOT as nice as expected if you have a quality TV, so that doesn't matter IMO.

This is my first VR headset I ever own, but from my experience with other headsets its a nice gaming VR headset. The graphics are insane for being VR, I love how easy the instructions are to set up your play area, its very immersive which is the best part for me but I believe the graphics have a lot to do with it and the haptic feedback. Immersion was my biggest concern to wanting to get to own a VR headset and this one knocked it out of the park, definitely would recommend. The only Con I have is having to stay connected with a cable to the PS5 or the PC but other than that 5 stars from me.

I'm now a Virtual Reality believer! Sony did a great job with this headset. The price might seem high. But once you have it...you won't regret it. It's comfortable, high quality, light, and the hand tracking is very good. I've been having a blast playing Pistol Whip, Horizon Call of the Mountain, and Resident Evil Village. The first time I put the headset on. I was blown away. For me it really feels like I've left my room and transported to a different world. Do keep in mind this is my first time with VR. So you might not have the same level of excitement. But yeah at the end of the day. If you have a PS5 console in your home. Then you should get the PSVR2. In my opinion...It's worth the price of admission.

The PSVR2 is a great experience and has a feature that even the Quest 3 doesn't have which is eye tracking. I don't really know what it does for games such as Resident Evil 4 and 8 since I've never seen any use out of it but it's cool that it's there. To me the biggest downside to the PSVR2 is the lackluster amount of games and that the entire PSVR1 lineup are somehow not compatible with the PSVR2. I dont know what is PlayStation's beef with backwards compatibility. If you have The Walking Dead saints and sinners for PSVR1, you will need to repurchase the game meanwhile from Quest 2 to Quest 3, the game is backwards compatible and performs better at no additional cost. If you wanted to play Resident Evil 7 vr, you either have to buy an original PSVR or repurchase it on PC where you can use a free mod to use your other VR systems to play your PCVR games since it is a hassle to set up the PSVR2 to your PC. Other than that, would I recommend buying? No. If you know a friend that has a one, just play theirs since they're most likely not making use of it.

As an owner of the original PSVR and formerly the Meta Quest 2 (currently upgraded to Meta Quest Pro), the PSVR2 is an excellent headset. I'm glad I waited for the $250 discount from the launch MSRP. The PS5-exclusive VR modes for Gran Turismo 7 and Resident Evil 4 Remake alone make the PSVR2 worth every penny. The included game Horizon Call of the Mountain is also a very impressive feat. Highlights that differentiate this from other headsets are the OLED lenses, HDR, 120HZ refresh rate, headset haptics, and the sense controller adaptive triggers. Accessories I recommend are the Globular Cluster comfort mod, Collective Minds charger and display stand, Digistand lens protective cover, and a large acrylic case (shown in photo). Looking forward to revisiting Resident Evil Village in VR once it arrives (will be delivered after Christmas, but I'm in no rush since the 3 games I mentioned are already keeping me busy). I'm used to the Meta Quest Pro's open design, so I'm happy the light blocker is also removable on the PSVR2. Personally it doesn't break the immersion for me at all, in fact the PSVR2 still blocks a significant portion of my peripheral vision compared to the Quest Pro, especially the sides. Besides, I always thought completely blocking out all light makes my FOV seem narrower (a literal tunnel vision). Just my preference. But keep in mind, if you also remove the light blocker, you'll lose its support on your face/cheek and the headset will droop substantially. Unlike the lighter and more balance Quest Pro, the PSVR2 wasn't designed for being supported solely on the forehead. The Globular Cluster comfort mod head strap completely remedies this.

Picked this up when the Summer Sale Hit for $399. The headset is very comfortable by comparison to others, I will say that the "sweet spot" on your head is a bit small but other than that I have no real issues with the Hardware. If you are using the Pulse 3D Elite Headset be sure and put those on first as unlike the first PSVR they fit underneath the VR. There are some great games I play regularly now including Walkabout Mini Golf, Resident Evil Village, Among Us if you can find a match without kids. I'm also looking forward to getting Gran Turismo 7 when it goes on sale. Overall its been hard to get excited about gaming lately but buying this headset changed that for me.

find it open box (450) and get the 2 YEAR geek squad accidental coverage ($79)! BONUS: if your open box is missing the redeem code for Horizon Call of the Mountain, you can call in a few times and eventually they will refund the retail cost of the game ($60). I replaced the cushions with the “Globular Cluster CMP2” which makes the headset 10x more comfortable to wear and comes with 3 different fabric options to mix and match. I also added a silicone shell to protect the front from bumps and drops. It also makes it look much easier to grab and adjust to your face.

First of all, Staff at my store were great through the whole process. I wish I could give 5 stars for just that alone, they were amazing and I appreciate the help they gave me. I'm mainly giving a star off because while I do like the headset and its been a lot of fun, I had to return it twice for different defects before I got one that just worked. One had a defective right trigger and the other had dead pixels in the left lense. The third one seems to be just fine, but still, word of warning for anyone who wants one, if you get a good one, its great! but you might get one with problems. Sony should really check on their QA for these.

Pretty good. OLED colors display beautifully. The "sweet spot" of VR is a lot smaller on this one than the meta quest 3. But that's due to the upgraded pancake lenses in the quest. The horizon game is very immersive and a lot of fun. You'll definitely break a sweat. I bought it during the major price drop, but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it.

I’ve had the VR headset for about a month now, and I have not been disappointed! The price drop during Black Friday was great, as I’ve been wanting this. A lot of hot titles came out this year, so it was a no brainer for me. Alien rogue incursion is a stand out title so far. If you’re looking to purchase a VR headset and have a PS5 I highly recommend this product.
