It is advertised as "portable;" however, I believe that it is suited more for a nightstand rather than taking it on a picnic. The sound is average and its appearance is better than average with a lighted screen and small footprint on my bedside table. Unless you can get this at a steep discount, I would recommend looking around at other offers from Best Buy.

You can control bass and treble independently for each source (AM/FM/Line in/Bluetooth). Good display size and a compact size, great to carry around the house (bedroom, kitchen, patio). Got one for my dad and he loved it, it’s his new favorite toy!

I am a senior, have to wait for children to show me , which is unusual because I do everything myself with an ancient tech degree, Can I sell you an IBM, Before that apple takes over, lol !!!!
