    great sound, although it primarily seems to only come out 1 side which could be good or bad. Works well with phone and computer and the app makes it simple setup.

    This is a good size speaker for a small to medium space. the bass can be really good, but can drown out some of the other sounds depending on the song. My only issue is the battery life. I am constantly listening to music or playing white noise in the background and the speaker does not last more than a day of constant use. If you are looking for something to use for a little each day, then this is a good speaker.

      12 hours: Volume level of the unit set to 34, the sound mode set to STAMINA.

    To be honest I charged the two I bought. Figured out how to set up with ipad within two days. No patience or young people around. The sound is good in the room, for the price. I've listened a little here and there over a few days. The batteries are down to about 40%. So I haven't listened too much, nor have I taken them outside yet. Curious to see if I take them outside, do I need to bring the ipad? Or not - hoping. Sorry can't be more help.

      To answer your question about using them outside, you do not need to bring your iPad with you as long as it's within the Bluetooth range of the speakers, which is typically about 30 feet (10 meters) with a clear line of sight. It's often possible to have your device inside while the speakers are playing outside, though thicker walls or other obstacles may affect the signal. We hope you enjoy them when you get a chance to use them outdoors!

We definitely designed the "ULT" button for those moments when you want that deep, heart-pumping bass, but we totally understand that sometimes it can be a bit too much depending on the song or the room you're in!

      The great thing about that speaker is that you can actually find a middle ground. If you turn off the ULT mode, you get a much more balanced, clear sound that's perfect for casual listening.
