Purchased this item for my wife and I was messing with them and was really impressed with how well it sounds for being Bluetooth and for being so small and lightweight.

They sound great, just don't lose the adjustment ear pieces. I changed them to the smaller ear loopy thing but not the earbud part. They stick out really far from your head. The main button is located in a bad spot, every time I go to adjust the earpiece I pause the song. Also the volume & track changing need have a separate button from the power button. I have learned to deal with the annoyances though for now until i can get a new pair with updated features.

    Best I've found for jogging

I bought these to replace another brand that developed a crackle in my left ear when I went on jogs. The other pair had smaller buds but a control and mic on the cord that pulled the buds out of my ears when I jogged. I chose these because another review indicated a jogging magazine awarded these their number 1 Bluetooth pick for jogging. So far, I can agree these are very good for jogging and any other workout where one is jostling around. The fit is very secure - I tried to shake them from my ears by jumping around and they didn't budge at all. These are the only earbuds I've had that I couldn't dislodge by jumping around. I'm loving that. The earbuds themselves are kind of big and stick out almost an inch from the ear. I have bumped into the buds because of the distance they hang out, but they haven't fallen out. Otherwise I don't notice they are sticking out. I'm not a super fan of how obvious they are, but the Bluetooth light is discreet which I like at night. They have better sound than my previous headset, but they aren't as clear as the LG infinims I tried. I'm not an audio expert so I can't explain the difference exactly, but some detail is lost with these - maybe slightly muddier sound. But they have more bass which I like. These excel at blocking out background noise - this could be good or bad depending on where you work out. The earbuds get plenty loud for my needs but I believe they block the higher volumes. I remove one star because I think I should have the option if I want more volume. I haven't tested how long these will last on one charge, but my iPhone indicator shows these have plenty of charge left after using them for 2 hours at near max volume. They have a single button to control all functions. Some don't like this feature, but I actually think it's easier to use. All my other headphones I struggle finding the right button. The controls are very simple and I think they are simpler to use. I am hopeful these will last. I have jogged once in the rain with no problem.

I was surprised the Bluetooth works as good as it does with phone calls. They really do cancel outside noise while I'm listening to music and I don't ever have to put the volume all the way up. Battery last a long time & charges quick. The design is a little big & you will confuse left with right but luckily they are labeled. Will cause pain on your ears but probably from listening to music so long.

Solid Headphones, Okay for Calls Too

I purchased these headphones to give me a little more freedom from wired headphones for a couple devices. They are easy to pair, and, in spite of having only one button, have built-in support for functions including pause, volume, and track skip which are fairly easy to use by pressing the button in a specific pattern. The audio quality is pretty good when listening to music. They have a little noise in the background, but it is not much of a bother compared to some other sound-reducing headphones. Audio quality is a bit less impressive on calls, but the microphone also works fairly well (though it is very sensitive to wind). The earpieces sit comfortably in the ears and they stay in a lot better than you might expect for each being fairly large (for ear bud-style headphones, anyway). The wire can be a little weird, but I usually put it behind my neck and it stays out of the way. Battery life is good, although I rarely use headphones long enough to keep close tabs on how long it lasts, which is to say it lasts longer than I typically listen to music in a day. Overall, these are solid headphones and if this closely matches what you are willing to pay for one, you will not be disappointed. They may not be for audiophiles, but casual listeners should enjoy the listening experience and it will stay in during a workout better than lots of ear buds without killing your ability to answer calls.

In general this is a good headset for sports or outdoor activities but its shortcoming in design is inneglectable. What I like: 1. Rich sound in middle rage. High and low range are also OK. 2. Light, waterproof, and comfortable when wearing during sports. It also blocks much of the environment noise. Good for running and jogging. Beautiful design (I like it better than the MDRAS800). I would buy the blue one if it is on sale but unfortunately not. 3. Signal is strong so even when I am five meters away from my phone, the headset can still receive the signal without any difficulty (which also means it costs more of its own battery as well as that of your phone, unfortunately). What I do not like: 1. The one-button design is very silly. This means you need to control everything with this one button, making volume adjustment very complicated while running. I often failed to adjust volume as the headset either did not recognize my control or mistakenly recognized it as turning off or stopping playback. This is where simplicity does not work. It might not be a major issue to people who care more about sound and comfort, but it can be annoying to many others. 2. I would expect Sony at least include a small storage bag within the package but I have to find one myself. It is not a very cheap headset so they should do better.

POSITIVES: Fantastic reproduction of highs and lows. Easily adaptive to any type of music or spoken word. Wide range of volume. Great for a quiet evening or mowing the lawn. Easy to connect and operate. Excellent outside sound isolation. Long lasting battery. Available in popular colors. I have orange so I can find them easily. Best of all I purchased them with rewards = free! NEGITIVES: The cord resonates body or clothing contact to the earpieces. The earpieces resonate the body movement when jogging.

Easy to connect, to wear; geat battery life and what you can do with just one button. I think the quality sound need (or must) be improved to be a Sony product. The mid frecuencies are flat, the bass is close to zero. The high frec are good

I paid for this when it was about $60 and have used it for about three time so far since owning it. The sound quality is pretty good for all types of music. Bass comes out just enough while the mids are clear. For working out, once I've selected the right pieces to fit my ears, they are very comfortable and have never fallen out. The volume change can be a little tricky but I can easily use my phone to manage it. Have only had to charge the item once so far within a week which is good. Quickly paired to my phone using NFC.

Sound quality is great. They do take a little getting used to with regard to getting them in your ears. The best part is no wires and being able to take a call when one comes in. Callers say I sound good when we talk.

Purchased these to run with on an every-other-day basis. Battery life is pretty good, usually about a week to week and a half before recharge is needed. Ear fit is comfortable and not invasive. Light weight enough that I wear them with the connecting cable hanging under the chin (in front of the neck) so there's no tugging when you have to turn your head. This is my second pair, first pair stopped working after about a year and a half of heavy use. Couldn't beat the price and the sound quality is very good, plenty of bass. Definitely recommend.

Nice fitting headphones that have impressive sound. They pair easily with my iPhone and have decent battery life. These do look cumbersome but are quite light and fit is not uncomfortable all. It does require a little adjustment if you'll wear a hat that would go over your ears. Also it has only one button for pairing, and it's various adjustments, including volume. Once you set to your liking it's set and forget though.

Bought these for my kids for working out or whenever they are wanting to go wireless. Love the Bluetooth capability! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the size of the ear pieces. These really stand out and aren't conspicuous at all. Fine for my son, not so much for my daughter. However, the performance of the product won them both over, so I scored a 4. So if you are reading this review, which is more important, performance or appearance? Depends on your needs.

I have owned PowerBeats 2 Bluetooth headphones and returned them due to a lack of sound quality. But these Sony headphones are incredible for the price. The only thing I wish was better about them was that I could turn the volume up just a little more. When I am mowing outside, the music can tend to be washed out by outside noises. They work great indoors though!!

I picked these headphones up on a whim. I needed some Bluetooth headphones and these caught my eye. The headphones work great. Sound quality is decent and fit can be tailored to your ear. It comes with multiple sizes of earbuds and the little ear things that hold the headphones into your ear. Sony advertises 8.5 hours of playback however, I found myself getting much longer than that. The headphones sit comfortably in your ear without any pain etc. Sound quality is amazing and can be bass-y. The headphones have NFC built in for easy connection with Android devices. However it pairs just like any other Bluetooth devices. The one button can be something to get used to since it takes multiple button presses to do more than just pause/play. However after you understand the controls, you're good to go. Solid device and would recommend it.

Pretty good sound. The only drawbacks is that because it does make a seal in your ear, you can hear your footsteps loud and clear. This is OK. The controls for volume, pause, next track, etc. are a little goofy and I usually end up just using my phone. Other than that, they are comfortable to wear, easy to charge, and stay paired.

They are really great, but it would've been better with a voice that tells you something, like if it's on/off or the battery level like the Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 and more than one button for everything. The sound it's excellent and battery life it's outstanding. They are really comfortable. Nonetheless, they are a really great buy!
