I was concerned that it was too small to have as an outdoor speaker for my daughter's party but I was wrong. The space was 75' x 50' and the bass and sound was heard throughout the space. Very surprised and very happy.

I am still blown away at how something so small can produce the sound that they do. Am reminded that dynamite comes in small packages still. The volume and sound quality will blow you away. Sony has done an amazing job in the design and construction of these blue tooth speakers.

A solid mid-price choice for a more casual listener that wants something very portable but also capable of decent quality sound and high volume. The battery life seems to range from about 10 - 18 hours depending on the temperature and age of your speaker. Sound quality dips noticeably at max volume but that same volume can be heard in a car driving 80mph down a highway with a window open so it is understandable. Rubberized coating is good for durability but also lets dust and other particles stick to it which can get gross if not regularly cleaned. Overall its definitely one of the best blue-tooth speakers for the price.

for its size and price, it is the only speaker with a woofer, look at other brands in this type of price and size like jbl, its small yes but only one driver, no lows. the sony has a loop to put a clip on it and it has bass, 16 hours of battery, i mean come on, niiiiice.

Love the blue color, but more importantly, this little speaker packs a sound punch. The volume is more than adequate - other Bluetooth speakers I've owned before have required full volume setting at all times, but not this one - and the sound quality is excellent. Really good bass. Also, the range is pretty darn good, and unlike lesser speakers, it doesn't constantly cut out, it really retains the Bluetooth connection very well. I don't use it but I bet other people would find the little round hook useful for shower sound. And it keeps a charge pretty well too (maybe like 15 hours?). Very pleased.

It was amazing i got this to use in the car since i dont have a way to connect my phone to the car i ended up getting another one and use them as a stereo set. I would suggest this speaker to anyone whk needs a good speaker with lots of bass for a low price

This little speaker produces amazing sound for the size. Obviously you have to be reasonable with your expectations but this speaker has exceeded mine. For the price this is a must buy if you are looking for a small portable Bluetooth/NFC speaker.

Big things do come in small packages and little guys do pack a big punch, bass punch that is. I went into the store with the intention of buying the JBL flip, however, I've no idea there was a much more affordable and practically rich sounding device just on the other side of the shelf. There it was 50% savings of pure dynamic sound in a much smaller product, yet just as much good quality. SONY has done it again: impress me. I feel lucky I found this little guy just in the nick of time. The battery life is more than what I expect and the compact size makes it possible to carry everywhere. The only buyers I would not recommend this product to are the ones who easily misplace devices. Despite its lower price, it's not worth losing it.

Very compact/portable and battery life is good. Sound is good, a little on the boomy side - great for bass lovers. Very useful for outdoor activities, picnics, camping, boating, etc.

The pros are simple: the sound is great, the device is small, and it didn't have any trouble connecting to my phone. The cons are short: the buttons are a bit of a pain, as is removing the rubber cover to access the mini USB port to charge it. It's really minor, but it did prove some difficulty getting it to go into bluetooth discovery mode the first couple times. I would prefer physical buttons you can see rather than the rubber cover sitting over top of the buttons. But I wouldn't let that deter you from buying this, especially not for this price!

This speaker is well worth the money. It's portable, loud and balanced, and water resistant. It was a great addition to an all-day fishing trip.

Great speaker at a great price. When you hang it by the hook the bass is amazing and is not muted by the surface it sits on. Holds a charge for a long time. Easy to pair with phone or ipod.

This is a perfect, compact size wireless speaker. Purchased especially for an upcoming trip to the beach. I was looking for something small as well as affordable & this wireless speaker fit the criteria that I had. The sound quality was adequate and they are really loud considering the small size. It also has a feature where you can pair it with another XB10 speaker if you desire. I also liked that it is suppose to have 16 hours battery life from a charge. I really don’t have any complaints about this speaker

This speaker packs quite a punch despite its little size. Super easy to sync and has much more bass than you would expect for such a small speaker. While it wouldn't be sufficient enough to fill a large room or for a party with a lot of people, it is perfect for small gatherings or outings to the beach or park. I haven't tried testing its water resistance, but it seems like it would be up to the challenge. An added plus is that it fits perfectly in my car cup holder for easy transportation from point A to point B.

powerful speaker with long battery life! I had read the reviews on the product before buying & they were correct. It’s a great steal for the price. I usually only buy Bose but I thought I would change it up & it was a good choice!

I purchased this speaker over a year ago and this speaker is still going strong. My wife and I really love this speaker, we take this about almost everywhere we go to listen to our music. It is really small and compact and surprisingly loud and good quality sound for its size. I want to pick a second one up to do the Part Link were you can link multiple Sony Bluetooth speakers together. If you are in the market for a nice affordable small Bluetooth speaker and would highly recommend this speaker.

Inpurchased this on sale as an early Christmas present for my son who is an audiophile. This provides large, clear sound with strong bass and we love it. Thinking about buying more to connect for stereo sound option.

I bought this Sony speaker for use at work, with all the equipment running it isn't quite loud enough. But during regular day to say use its been great. Has decent bass for such a small speaker. Good battery life even at full volume.

My daughter is a music therapy major and needed a bluetooth speaker that is compact, yet has a good sound. I tested this speaket and was able to use in my living room while being outside and the sound did not cut out.

small, lightweight, great range, connected easy when testing individually with ipad, windows PC, phones, and a tablet. Took on vacation, connected and played music for 10+ hours before a recharge was even needed.
