Great entry vlogger

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.] Still More Versatile Than ZV-1F or ZV-1 Mk II I'm just writing this review to point out something that makes this camera much more versatile than the newer ZV-1F or the ZV-1 II that "replaces" the ZV-1. The ZV-1 has optical image stabilization in the lens, the other two do not. Many people have pointed out the slight difference this makes in video, vs. the digital only on the newer cameras. But this misses one important thing. If you are going to use this camera as a compact travel camera or any other use case that will involve taking pictures, digital stabilization does nothing for photos. This means the ZV-1F/1 II have no image stabilization in photos. The ZV-1 has optical image stabilization when taking pictures. This is beneficial at longer focal lengths and especially in lower light. If you are looking for a travel camera or general use camera, the optical stabilization in the lens of the ZV-1 gives it an advantage over the others

Great First Camera

I love the Sony system and quality though - other than those two pain points it’s a fantastic first camera.

My you tube videos look very professional and it captures a lot of good lighting. Not impressed with the microphone, but there are a lot of great options in the market which are compatible to attach with it. A memory card purchase will be required separate from this camera.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i absolutely loved the camera ! i was very upset when arriving to pick my camera up for them to have ALMOST given me a used camera. it wasn’t until the lady at the pickup station clarified with me that i got a brand new one. they had to send the used one to the back and took about 20 minutes to find a brand new one to give to me. overall the camera has great quality, affordable, and i am so grateful for the women who noticed the error.

Overall fan!

Sometimes I find that a shot looks great on the display, and then with I look back altering filming, the focus is not where I intended! Probably not a point and shoot camera. That's on me to learn more!! But that's my only qualm. I read many reviews saying that the still shots were not great and I totally disagree! I use those shots all the time and I find the shots to be pretty impressive with minimal effort. I'm just shooting in auto for those!

I bought it open box in excellent condition and it was just that. It doesnt have a flash on it but you can buy one for like $20 it also has a creator app where you can send your videos to your phone via Bluetooth. Overall its a great camera
