Own your video games forever! Did you know that Sony reserves the right to delete your PSN account and remove items from your digital libraries? They have also announced that they are ending support for digital storefronts for their PS3 and PS Vita consoles— eliminating play access to many PS1 and PS2 Classics at affordable prices. Not to mention preventing access to your previously purchased games. If a company is discontinuing access to a digital storefront now, when will they do the same for an all-digital system later? Thankfully I own the discs for many of my favorite games, so corporate greed can only affect my mood. I began buying my favorite games physically because I cannot a trust a company I have been buying from since I was 8 years old. Considering that Sony has decided to discontinue physical media in 2028, I will only be making purchases of fully playable physical games. Many Xbox One titles are only partially on disc, and while some switch 2 games are game keys they still function similarly to full physical media on the secondary market. Having choice taken from you is not a decision for gamers. No Disc/Cartridge = No Buy.

Love ATLUS games. This sequel is no different. I wish I was able to play the first game (don’t have the system for it) but what I can tell you is the story isn’t too bad and the music is pretty good too.

Totally awesome story and aesthetic/style. Superb music. Great voice acting/writing. Classic Megami Tensei formula in a beautiful new package that evokes elements and feelings from the greatest classic JRPGs of all time. Enthralling work of art, and fun. Art cards with physical copy are very nice.

After seeing reviews for this game I was a little hesitant to purchase day one and was thinking to wait for a sale, but I'm glad I didn't wait. This game is a lot better than I expected, the story and characters get you right away, and the turn based combat is really scratching that classic jrpg itch. A lot of the new jrpgs are action based and its good to see a major game go back to turn base for change. The game runs perfect and looks beautiful on PS5. Also comes with some cool collectors cards inside the game case which is nice to see. If you are a veteran to jrpgs I recommend playing it in hard mode for a respectable challenge, I feel like normal mode was a little too easy for a Soul Hackers/SMT game.

The game is good. It might just be me, but the design of the game could have been better. Sometimes I feel like it wasn't made with any soul and they just put it out as is. Considering the DLC content that you have to buy and the updates that should have been in the game from Day 1... I might be right.

Soul Hackers is not Persona… especially not Persona 5 for all of the new fans out there that experienced the series with 5 first. Don’t go into this expecting Persona 5 levels of character interaction, growth or stylized gameplay. With that being said what is here for you to enjoy is a JRPG set in the same genre that Persona exists in. You will see familiar demons, you will experience references to other games in the genre like SMT and Persona of course but that’s where the relationship ends. The main character is likable and the story is mildly entertaining. I’d suggest picking this up if you’re wildly curious about offshoot games set in the same universe as Persona.

If you like RPGs this is worth checking out! Visuals and world are very interesting, not my favorite story of the SMT franchise but still a lot of fun! Great RPG gameplay!

I was excited for this game because I did dig the aesthetic it had, but also because it did seem like they were going to fix all the problems I had with the first Soul Hacker, and they sure did! Top 3 Atlus games for me, really recommend it.

Really fun game. Played this game right after finishing SMT V and it's a blast! Easily 60 hours of gameplay and pretty much what you would expect from Atlus games. Grinding may be a bit of a pain but you get used to it after a while.

Graphically the game is nice to see on ps5. Isn’t the best looking thing out there but at the right price it’s worth the pick up.

Game is a fun turn-based RPG but the camera gets a little getting used to when exploring.

Game has a decent story line, and a good mixture of anime-esque style. I like that you can customize the demons you use, and how you use boosts for dungeons, I just wish there was an easier way to refresh MP. Overall decent game for the price.

Story is interesting enough but the dungeon designs and variety are a bit on the bland side. If you like persona for its combat then this game is for you.

I understand the history of these games. The demon thing is a little cringe. Aside from that… it can be a pretty enjoyable game. Some of the level designs looks poorly done and random enemy attacks can be very frustrating/annoying It’s definitely a good game. It does have flaws and i like i said the demon thing is a little played out. Don’t regret the purchase. The cards the game comes with are awesome btw I love the strategy that turn based games bring… this game does a good job of that. The lead character is nice to look at and make hours of playing the game fly by

The game has an engaging story and the gameplay is excellent as expected from Atlus' JRPG. Performance of the PS5 is particular solid.
