    I am so thankful for having the cover on my iPad. A week after buying the iPad, I was trying to carry to much into the bedroom and ended up dropping it from about 3 feet off the ground. I picked up the iPad and there was nothing wrong with it. I was lucky it didn't fall on a corner or anything like that but the cover protected it. The cover has a stand built into it as well so you can lay in bed and go hands free while streaming videos or surfing the internet.
