Serves a purpose but won't buy again. If they had had a full stock instore when I needed I wouldn't hav bought.

There was nothing wrong with this case, but I ended up exchanging for another I liked better.

I loved the Speck case I had for my iPhone 4S so I wanted to buy a Speck case for my 5S. The only one I liked at Best Buy the day I was there is the one I am reviewing. I was disappointed with it because it had a smooth, shiny black finish that was both slippery and showed scratches easily. I returned this case and purchased a different one.

I like the case but I wish there had been more color choices to choose from

I was excited to open my case when I first got it. It looked GREAT! But after 2 weeks of use, the case scratches really bad to the point now that I'm looking for another case by another case maker.

What what is expected - doesn't cover the screen shield completely

Will break if you drop it on the corners. Ours did.

While the case looks very nice, it is not built very well. The gap over the charger port is weak and breaks almost immediately. Otherwise it's a fine case.

The case cracked on the side the first week I had it. Very disappointed, as I was a fan of Speck cases

This case is very cute but in less than 1 month the graphics faded from avg daily use. Faded on the sides and on the back middle.

not sure if it is intended to but my daughter dropped her phone and the screen cracked. Had to replace screen and it cost $100

fits great on my phone and i have access to all the buttons and ports just glossy thats my only complaint

Not that great. Accesories cannot be used with this case.

This case has been my case for over a year now, has great protection, looks sleek, simple, and just fits the phone perfectly. I've dropped it a couple of times and nothing has ever happened. The case outlasted the iphone. I had to replace it and when I took my phone out of my case, it looked brand new. So definitely a wonderful purchase

I got the iPhone 5 on launch day from Verizon and I knew that I needed a case for it ASAP. I went to Best Buy because I knew they'd probably have better prices and a better selection than Verizon. I don't like the huge Otterbox cases but I figured the phone needed something more than the silicon cases so I decided to get this case. I got the grey with the pink soft inside. It works great and definitely keeps my phone protected. Like the other review says there is a lip around the top so that if you set the case upside down the screen never touches the table or whatever surface you set it down on. The only issue I have a problem with is that it's very difficult to get your phone out. I almost feel like I might snap the phone in half trying to get it out. I guess that's good since it won't come out if it gets dropped but I don't know. Just makes me nervous every time I have to take it out. I would definitely recommend this case though. I do kind of wish I had a slider case though.

I've had this case on my iPhone 5s for about two weeks now and I really like it. It's not bulky, but I feel like it offers my phone good protection. It's a snug fit, but it's not hard to get the phone out of the case. I haven't dropped my phone with the case on, but I believe if I did the phone would be just fine afterwards. I haven't had any issues with the case getting in the way of plugging in any cords either (like the apple charger cable or third party head phones). I also haven't had any issues with the case getting scratched, as I know others have mentioned. Overall I am very happy with the case.

This case is the best it fits perfectly and doesn't give the phone any bulk. I like that its two layers so a drop is not a big deal and also I'm not spending a zillion dollars on an otterbox or lifeproof either. If you want a case that gives your phone your own personality and taste then this is the phone for you. It compliments you and is flashy so anyone who notices it gives it a second look. Best case ever

Speck's cases are always a good middle ground of form and function together. They're not bulky like the Otterbox cases and they still protect very well. Five stars.

So, I must start with that I have used Speck cases for my iPhone so that they are protected from drops since the iPhone 3. I really love the colors on the Speck cases and was a bit sad that there were so few options at Best Buy on release day but I guess that should be accepted since the Apple store had NO covers on release day. Honestly, I never pay full price for my Speck cases, I always get them with a coupon or on sale but with the phone being brand new and no one having cases, I conceded. I will say that although I do not like to pay full price, I am more than willing to as it protects my phone. On to the review, I ended up getting the white and charcoal grey cover which looks amazing on my black iPhone, it really fits it well. The cover is a perfect fit for it and with the new design of the phone, it fits awesome in my hand. I saw that on the Speck site there were more colors available but in Best Buy store not quite yet. I LOVE the Speck cases and how well they protect the phone if a drop happens. They also have a great silicone lip on the top which makes it so that your phone screen does not touch surfaces and helps safe it from scratches (I also have a Zagg smudge proof screen cover on it). Another thing that I really like about the white cover is that it will show scratches much less than the other colors I have had. So you should know if you have any other color besides white, it will start showing scratches on the back cover almost immediately but it will protect your iPhone phenomenally. In regards to Speck products and this cover, I do really love them and think they are worth the money even full price. I will continue to buy them and have them protect my phone from damage.
