The material. Is very thin which is nice if u want to keep the weight down. I done think these will offer much if any drop protection. I should have read the description better as I thought these would be a hard cover of some type.

Whenever you place anything in the pocket, the sides of the case pull away from the ipod. Not gaping, but enough to expose edge of screen saver.
Would recommend, but with warning.
